it’s hard to put into words how much of a loss this truly is… not only for us as a farm, but especially for my grandma June Yahola.

I, unfortunately, only got to see this beautiful boy one time in my life, at the 2012 U.S. Nationals. there aren’t many words I can say… other than that I was in complete awe of what was standing before me, and how lucky I was to be related to the one that bred him.

I remember, though, so many times growing up hearing that Pyro was my grandma’s “gift from God” as she put it. and he truly was… everytime she would talk about him or Pryme Thyme, she will absolutely light up, sometimes in awe or even disbelief that not only was she lucky to have both horses, but also accomplish what a “small-town breeder could only dream of doing.”

I can’t thank Angie Larson Sellman and Janina Merz enough for cherishing Pyro as much as she did… we will always be forever grateful.

If any of you guys have any fond memories of Pyro that you want me to pass along, please don’t hesitate to do so. And thank you, Stuart Vesty for capturing him so beautifully… may he rest in peace.

hi friends!

Many of you guys may or may not know that we’re downsizing our herd, as I’m planning on going to graduate school next fall and I just don’t think it’s fair to keep these wonderful horses at home, where I know they can be used and loved elsewhere. The Arabian horses have been a part of our lives for almost 50 years and we will forever be grateful for the impact that we’ve made on the Arabian community through one amazing horse: Pryme Thyme.

We’ve laid our foundation of Bask bred lines with our Pryme Thyme and Pyro Thyme SA daughters, as well as other Bey Shah bloodlines coming from Chances Are and Midnight Zepher JW.

I posted a few pictures I’ve taken of our babies this year (along with some of the stallions that we have.)

And I’ve also created a website: www.shamanarabians.com where I will continue to add pictures and information as needed.

But if you guys are interested in any of our horses, please don’t hesitate to message me and I’ll give you any extra information.

If I haven’t already said, for the people who have loved and supported us, have our horses, and continue being in touch with my grandma and I. Thank you so much. It’s a tough time, but one that we know is for the best.

My 20 year old Grandson along with a friend of his, took on the responsibility of delivering a two year old Black Pure Bred Arabian Filly from here in Oklahoma to Colorado. He called when he got her there, meeting a local Veterinarian and Prospective Buyer for another Vet check before delivery. She passed with flying colors, the lady purchasing her was delighted to see her and did take delivery. She said the pictures did not do her justice. They never do when we amateurs take them I know. I am always so delighted when someone buys one of our pure bred Arabians. We have been breeding these beautiful horses since 1972. I would say we have as good or better brood of mares as there is anywhere in the United States or Canada. After this long we know what we are doing and if you want a beautiful horse to show, ride or do both. Call us, give us an opportunity to fill you need or desire!!

I am not sure how to start this message to anyone that might have messaged Shaman Arabians over the past year or so, but I haven't been able to get those messages. I am anxious to get back to the business of telling about Shaman Arabian Horses to anyone that would like to listen ---I have a lot to tell, please get in touch with me!! Oh yes and I have taken on a new adventure, breeding small Aussies. I am in Love!! They won't take the place of my horses and they are a lot more work, but they are always by my side, day or night, sunshine or rain and that is very nice these troubling days!!
