hey friends!! it’s been a while!

life is rollin’ right along out here on the prairie! daybreak is FULLY BOOKED for the summer as of right now! whoop! thank you to all my clients who are trusting me with their horses! it means the world!!

i’ll be taking very few client horses for the fall so reach out if you’re looking to have your horses sent out for training as the weather cools down!

hoping to post more on social media as the summer goes on but man, it’s hard to fit everything in!!

penny is learning how to pack our torso-less friend around! she did not care at all! still was worried about the saddle at first so we’ll make sure she’s good and comfy with that before we climb on!

meet the summer project! just picked him up from a local kill pen. poor guy is a little worse for wear but i see so much potential in him!

there are a few things we need to clear up with the vet before he goes to work so he’ll spend the next few weeks eating green grass, getting lots of love and whatever he needs to be comfy! 🤎 i’m excited to bring you guys along on the journey!

he does not have a name yet!! give me some suggestions in the comments! 🫶🏻

just got back from a quick trip to AZ to see the fam! the summer season is just starting here at daybreak and i am SO excited about all the horses coming in!

so excited to have some sweet trail horses here for a tune-up! salsa, lightning, and teddy belong to three sweet little girls who are itching to ride this summer!

for those of you who have been following me for a while, one of these guys should look familiar! teddy (third pic) was a sale project of mine and he found the greatest home! so fun to have him back for a little bit! 🤍

summer is just around the corner, it’s time to start planning your epic horse adventures! let’s make sure your horse is ready to go hit the trails with you! or let’s get that c**t started under saddle so you can go chase some cattle!

i know this season of life is busy: brandings, kids’ summer schedules, planting season, etc. sometimes you just don’t have the time to grab those horses out of the pasture and get the fresh knocked off of them after the winter. and sometimes you just don’t want to put those first rides on the two-year olds that are finally big enough to start. let me help!

daybreak horse company has openings for c**t starting or tune-ups for your broke horses. i’m mostly booked full for may but june and july have plenty of room!

this is such a powerful concept for me! i have always wanted my horses to “like” me. to want to be with me and to want to spend time with me. and so i have a bad habit of letting them get away with things that they really shouldn’t. it’s so important for me to remember that boundaries — clear boundaries — are essential to having a good relationship with your horses!

’s book — think like a horse — is SO good! i highly recommend it to everyone, not just horse people! i have some really neat takeaways from this book that i’m excited to share with you!
