Sharing this again this year because, it is that time.

Friends--- please be aware of your dog's health. If they are sneezing or coughing they are not permitted in the kennel. We do everything in our power from daily sanitizing procedures, to air flow and filtration practices to keep everyone healthy. Kennel cough includes MANY strains of respiratory upset and is SO very common. Bordetella may help, but needs to be administered at least 10 days before coming. Just like in people, colds spread quickly and vaccines do not guarantee immunity. If your dog comes in and is or starts coughing, or showing symptoms it will have to be picked up ASAP!

Secondly- PLEASE check in with ONLY A HUMAN, then you can get your pups when the office is clear.

Today and tomorrow we send home the last of our 2024 training graduates 🎓

🐶 Dood the doodle went home today and has come so far and excelled in our off leash program.

🐶 Lady (black) has spent 8 weeks with us for e collar/ offlead and her sister Levee (chocolate) joined her for the last week to ensure they can practice self control around one another.

They have all done fabulous and we’re a joyful way for us to end the year. We are currently booking for February 2025 and have a couple of spots left!!

A huge shoutout to Rylee for stepping up and working hard to become the best trainer she can be. We are lucky to have her and I look forward to her stepping up with more obedience clients next year.

We have updated the website and have a few training updates- Rylee has been my assistant all fall with obedience dogs and is doing a fabulous job. She is now an obedience trainer here alongside and with the help and supervision of myself. Rylee and I will be focusing on our basic obedience program as it is the most popular. We are currently booking for Feb 2025!

We will be taking e-collar/off-lead dogs seasonally and have a very limited number of spots. This program will require an evaluation before signing up.

I am super excited to start offering a limited amount of puppy-head start spots. This is for puppies 8 weeks and older. They will NOT be allowed into the big kennel without all vaccines as always; with every dog's safety in mind. Instead, during this program puppies are in the house with me and in my whelping room to learn crate training skills, work on potty training and be introduced to basic commands with food and fun. The earliest time this will be available is March 2025 as I am expecting my own lab puppies in the coming days.

If you are planning on purchasing or adopting a puppy,
I am always thrilled to play matchmaker and if puppy head start is something you are interested in, please plan ahead!!

Lastly, the kennel will be CLOSED- WITH NO DOGS- January 9-14. We apologize for any inconvenience. We will be doing maintenance projects as we work to keep the kennel as great as it can be!!

Happy Thanksgiving week!! We are thankful for you and hope you have a wonderful short work week and end it with people you love and some great food. Maybe even share a bite with your pup.

Due to the kennel being at capacity we will not be giving tours this week or allowing visitors in the back as we work hard to keep the pups in our care as happy and low stress as possible. ❤️❤️❤️
