Good Morning Family. I wanted to first say Thank you so much for the wonderful year I got to share with you and your babies. I have loved meeting new family members and sad to loose some of them as well. With out you all and your pets I wouldn't be able to support my own family and help my household. I wanted to take this time to remind everyone I will be out of town from 1/18/25-1/27/25. I will be back open and walking pets, house sitting, farms etc on 1/28/25. I will be checking messages in the early morning hours and then again in the evening hours. I plan to spend time with my family as need be. As soon as confirm a emergency back up person I will update this post. Everyone please be safe this coming New Years Eve and Day! Have a wonder New Years and Happy Holidays!

I’m so thankful for all my past and present clients. I got to spend this holiday with not only my family but some of your furry babies. Thank you everyone for your continued support and trusting me with your babies!

When the horses didn’t want kisses when you walked in. But then they do after they ate their grain and have dirty mouths. Plus they want to use you as a scratching post after. Good lord.

Yesterday a horse that I came to love and earn his trust went over the rainbow bridge. When I first met Oliver a couple years ago, he wouldn’t come near me. But I had my kids with me and he went right over to them to sniff him and let them pet him. From then on the tiny humans were his favorite next to his own mother. Oliver came to know and love me and I to him. With buying his love with treats, apples, nose boops , and kisses. We became fast friends. We had a routine that he let me in his stall to feed him. He would eat his food and then before he was allowed out into the lot, he had to get love for me for at least five minutes. I know it seems crazy, but that’s how we became friends. I would open the stall door and walk out and he would follow me over to the watering tank and let me fill it while he took a drink. There were times though he didn’t want love and I told him he had to accept my love before he got a treat. Liz did everything to say Oliver and I watched her struggle with the decision and it was hard for everyone. We had our ups and downs trying to blanket him was an example that he did not like me doing it lol. But finally got used to me and I told him if he wants to freeze that was not an option. He needed a bankie. I know it is like to put a pet down, but I don’t know what it’s like to put a horse down. My thoughts and prayers are with Liz her husband Jim, and the herd that they love so much. I will miss Oliver and so will my girls. He was a gentle soul Here, just a few pictures I was able to gather showing his personality, his tiny humans. He was a good horse. Run free Oliver and breathe better and know that your mommy will see you again.

☀️🔥🚙🐾Today, two dogs in Loudoun County were left in a car. Luckily a store owner saw them and took action. Police were called. Temp in the car had reached 110… 110 people!!! The owner came back. Said they were only gone 20 minutes. 20 minutes was too long. It was longer. This is torture for your pets. They could have had heat stroke or worse… died! When will people ever learn? Here is a heat chart, that you can share, to hopefully prevent another pet from this abuse (yes, that’s what it is)!☀️🔥🚙🐾
