oggy getaway! We'll accommodate you in just about anything for your dog! Special diets, extra love, late check-outs... just ask! Policies
A credit card on file is required to make any booking (boarding, grooming, and daycare). Due to the increase in dogs we provide our services to, we have made the decision to implement new policies and enforce current ones to ensure the best care for your pets. Daycare No Shows: A card on file will be charged full price of scheduled service (full or half day). Daycare Cancellations: Must be canceled at least 24 hours in advance. Failure to cancel at least 24 hours in advance is subject to a fee of 50% of scheduled service. Grooming cancellations: All appointments that are not canceled at least 24 hours in advance are subject to a $20 late cancellation fee. Grooming Late fee/cancellations: A late-fee of $5 will be charged every 15 minutes after scheduled appointment time. A no-show 30 minutes after scheduled appointment time will result in a cancellation. Grooming No Shows: No show appointments will be charged the full service amount for missed appointments. You cannot make a future appointment without paying full amount. Boarding No Shows: A card on file will be charged 50% of boarding stay. Boarding cancellations: Must be canceled at least 24 hours in advance. Failure to cancel at least 24 hours in advance are subject to a charge of one night of boarding. Policies:
All dogs must be leashed and under control in all parts of the facility including the parking lot. Under no circumstances are clients allowed behind the desk or unaccompanied in the facility beyond the lobby. Reminder emails for Boarding, Daycare, and Grooming services are sent out 24 hours in advance - if you are not receiving these emails or need to update your email address please let us know as soon as possible. All dogs must be up to date on Rabies, Distemper, and Bordetella vaccinations for Boarding and Daycare. All dogs must be spayed/neutered to participate in daycare. All dogs must pass a Daycare Assessment before participating in daycare. Dogs that are not provided with EXTRA food for their stay will be charged a food fee. Grooming clients:
If you come to acquire your dog before you have been called for pick-up, your dog will be sent home as is/unfinished. Your pet becomes very excited when you arrive and the grooming cannot and will not be continued for safety purposes. Grooming requires the use of sharp tools and working on an overexcited dog can lead to injury. No matter the state your dog is in, you will be charged the full price of their grooming service.

Barks on Bourbon is looking to hire a GROOMER!🐩
Full-time or part-time available. Pay based on experience. Flexible hours.
Key Responsibilities include:
1. Groom and style per owner’s instructions and/ or breed standards while ensuring the health, wellness, and safety of furry patrons at all times.
2. Develop long term relationships with pet parents by understanding their needs and recommending products and services that will keep their pet healthy and happy.
3. Perform daily, routine cleaning to keep the grooming environment fun, inviting, clean, and safe.
4. Assist boarding and daycare team members during grooming downtime with baths, nail trims, check-ins/outs.
Requirements:
•Two or more years of experience required, and there is opportunity to continue to apprentice with our current groomer of over a decade.
•Ability to move or lift merchandise, pets and/or equipment weighing up to 50lbs.
•Ability to stand, bend or stoop for extended periods of time.

This is a reminder to please keep your dogs at home if they are exhibiting signs of Kennel Cough.

Kennel Cough can be contagious for up to 14 days after your dog’s last symptoms show. This means you need to keep your dog(s) home from home from daycare, the dog park, grooming, and boarding for at least two weeks after their last sneeze or cough.

While most adult, healthy dogs recover just fine, older dogs, immune compromised dogs, and young puppies are at a greater risk of complications and pneumonia if they contract Kennel Cough.

If you are unsure if your dog has Kennel Cough - please contact your veterinarian and keep them at home until a negative result has been confirmed.
