Let’s talk pet insurance! We get it. It can be pretty overwhelming and confusing, reading through all the different bundles, plans, and policies that the numerous insurance providers have to offer you and your pet. That’s why we’d like to help you narrow down your options a bit.

When considering the right policy for your pet, be sure to compare all the various options available and find the one that makes sense for your pet’s lifestyle and circumstances. To start, make a list of the things that you think your pet may need, and what you want to have included for your pet’s coverage. Once you’ve compiled your list, see which of the three options available best firts your pet’s needs: Accident-Only Plans, Accident and Illness Plans, or Pet Wellness Plans. Once you’ve identified which one is right for you, the next step is to consider costs of coverage. From there, you can narrow down the list of providers based on what you want to pay for and can fit into your budget.

If you still need help choosing the right plan, consult with your veterinarian and see what they think your pet may or may not need coverage for.

Wondering what to make of your senior pet’s blood work results? We’ve got you. ⬇️⬇️⬇️

🔎 First, your veterinarian will review the results and consider them in light of your pet’s previous tests or symptoms. In other words, they’ll decipher your pet’s blood work, so you can understand what it all means

☎️ Next, someone on our team will contact you. If your pet’s results are normal, this may be a veterinary technician or assistant. If the results are abnormal, your veterinarian may call, email, or request an in-person consult to discuss their findings and recommendations.

🫶 Normal and abnormal results play an equally important and valuable role in the care we recommend. No matter your pet’s results, our team will provide step-by-step guidance and support, ensuring the best possible outcomes for your best friend.

🎀 The holidays are a time for family and friends, including those with four legs! But, it’s also a time when pet emergencies increase. Fortunately, you can prevent an emergency vet visit.🚨🚨🚨

Keep your pet’s safety at the top of your holiday list with these five tips:

1. Avoid feeding your pet holiday table scraps and treats. Many contain toxic ingredients or are too rich for your pet’s digestive system.
2. Ensure your pet has up-to-date identification, including collar tags and microchip registration, in case they go missing.
Supervise your pet around decorations. Tinsel, lights, toxic holiday plants, and breakable ornaments can lead to serious injury.
3. Ensure your pet has a quiet place to escape the excitement. Festivities can make some pets nervous or stressed.
4. Instruct guests to store their belongings out of reach. Luggage may contain toxic hazards, such as medications, gum, candy, and supplements.
5. Give your pet the gift of safety this holiday season by prioritizing their comfort and well-being.

📋 Check your list twice: Request your pet’s medication refills and food orders now to ensure they have everything they need for the holiday break!

Your senior pet looks healthy, but despite their familiar tail wag and happy-go-lucky nature, they could be suffering from a hidden illness.

Age-related health changes are rarely noticeable until pets are severely affected. By then, treatment is often less successful—or unavailable.

Preventive senior pet blood work can pinpoint concerning changes sooner, giving your veterinarian more time to intervene—and giving you and your pet more time together.

🐾 It’s time for the truth about your senior pet’s health. Ask for blood work at their next visit!
