Helping Animals Rescue Team HART is a small non profit foster based cat rescue, meaning we do not have a facility and rely on our incredible foster homes to save animals in need.

Our TNR team had a busy weekend! With the help of the caretakers, there will be 2 dozen community cats NOT producing babies! That's hundreds of kittens within 2 years prevented!

Hey friends and followers, it's Spay / Neuter clinic time! We are trying to get ahead of things by posting our next 4 trips:

Tues ‐ Sept 9th
Wed - Sept 24th
Tues - Oct 7th
Tues - Oct 21st

If you would like to help transport the cats to or from the clinic please send us a message or call/ text (93) 202-4554. There will be up to 18, and usually a mix of friendly and community cats.

We will be going to SVLCSNC in Dunlap so it's a straight shot down 127. Drop off is 7:45, pickup anywhere from 2:30 - 4:30 depending on their schedule.

We have a couple volunteer opportunities for local folks wanting to help but not able to foster. Will require transportation.

1. Assistance getting cats / kittens to adoption center to Petsense and getting them settled in. Pickup location is in town so not a lot of driving either. Not a daily task but ongoing.

2. Assistance with preparing auction. Need help photographing, writing descriptions, setting pricing, and after it ends, sorting items for winning bids. Items are located in lake tansi. Occurs 2 - 3 times a year. A few hectic days at end but the up front can be spaced out. (Get sneak peek at all the goodies).

2025 has been one of the hardest due to health issues with our volunteers and exhaustion from 20 years of trying to battle the overpopulation problems. We want to thank you, the ones who have been supporting us by spreading the word..driving cats to the clinics and vets, donating supplies and wiping our tears when we get overwhelmed. Thank you to the adopters who bring these wonderful and sometimes tricky cats into your homes and the fosters who care for the cats and kittens.

Anchovy is a sweet energetic boy and he is ready for adoption!
He is already neutered has age appropriate vaccines including rabies vaccine. Hes had routine deworming and he is microchipped.
