Sibling 5 month old Rasta Pasta and Relic are at pet sense looking for their forever homes.
These two guys are absolutely ridiculously sweet. They purr the moment they are touched and keep purring even when you try to annoy them. They play play play and also love to snuggle and rub against you.

Of course Jones will think you are there to see him and he will probably want to impersonate her to get more snackies and attention. So just know that she's the skinny old lady with the cranky voice and Jones is the fat boi who lies about his feeding schedule.

Our newest foster kitty. This is Siren. Age: unknown but we are guesstimating eleventy five. She enjoys every bed she can try out. Preferably up away from the other peasant cats. Lots of wet food. She will curl her tail around the dish when she's not eating it and sometimes pets the food with the tip of her tail just to let us know it's still her food and she's just taking a break.
We add warm water to the wet food because she stays pretty dehydrated. We have to put her up in a condo with a recessed litter box when the foster mom isn't there so she doesn't gave to look for the litter box. She seems to forget where it is sometimes.
She's not fond of the younger cats eyeing up her snackies.
When the vet returns from the holidays we will have her evaluated and get blood work done.

A big thank you to Dr Thomas Holt at Homestead Animal Medical Clinic, PLLC and his staff for not only fixing 13 cats for us today but picking them up from the shelter!
We also want to thank the staff at the Cumberland County Animal Shelter - Crossville, TN for helping us pick and load up 12 cats that we were able to sponsor spay and neuter for.
We have very limited foster space right now as our foster homes have dwindled over the years. But we want to keep helping Cumberland county cats get homes so we were able to sponsor their spay and neuter so they could get adopted quicker. As the cats in our program find homes we will continue to pull shelter cats into our program.
Team work makes the dream work!

Don't get me started on this girl. Ursaline was just spayed on Tuesday and once she recovers she is ready for a home!
She is very playful. We had to restrict her play right after spay so she didn't pull her stitch!

What's this little fluffy surprise? Rasta pasta is a sweet purr face extraordinaire. He is about 5 months old and ready for adoption! He loves to play. Loves to be snuggled. Loves to purr. He's been raised around well behaved dogs and would be fine with kids also.

Relic is a ridiculously sweet kitten who purrs the minute you touch him. He cannot get enough love! He gets along with pretty much everything.

As the cold weather settles in, we have a big need for fosters. HART provides everything needed from dishes to bedding to medical. What we need are people who can open their hearts and their homes to provide love and playtime. We will work with you to find the right fits age wise. The length of time will vary with the age and health of the kittens / cats.

Update: Mavis just picked her forever home! She is on her way to enjoy her new life with her person!

Meet Mavis! This girl is very sweet and affectionate. She came to us from the shelter after she had been roaming around an abandoned building. She had a hernia the vet thinks was from being grabbed by a dog. The hernia has been fixed and while there is still a puffy spot there the vet upon recheck recommended that it be left alone now. Her hernia operation was sponsored by a very kind donor!
She is spayed, vaccinated, dewormed, flea treated and microchipped. Mavis does nibble. Her foster mom said she will grab your arm with her mouth very gently as you wall by. For no particular reason! Maybe just to say " hi! I'm here!"
Mavis is an adult cat with Calico point siamese markings and stunning blue eyes.

Looking for a volunteer who is free on Thursday mornings to help get some kitties to a local spay / neuter appointments. It won't be every Thursday, but we wanted to get a name or two so that we can reach out as needed. The drop-off is in Crossville at 8AM. Pick-up we think we have covered, but will take a name or two just in case).
