If you are on the fence about trying alpaca socks take the jump. Alpaca is 3 times warmer and 3 times stronger than sheep’s wool. Not to mention they are so soft and hypoallergenic!

I am super excited as I have not vended with most of these companies before. Excited to see what they have so that I can finish up my Holiday Shopping. our new adventure

We started Indigo Alpaca Ranch in the summer of 2015, with four females and two males, with the goals of improving our stock and using their fiber to make soft, warm products. Currently we have eight females and five males and the huge addition of Wager the Drama Llama. We had two babies, which are called cria, in 2016. In 2017, we opened “A piece of Indigo” farm store, and are expecting at least two cria in early June 2018. (Alpacas are pregnant 11.5 +/- months.) We are slowly but surely completing our goals of breeding better alpacas and producing products from their fleece. As of now we have hats, scarves, mittens, dryer balls, felted soap, bird nesting balls, yarn, roving (for hand spinners) and more.
