I want to make a public comment for all who think we just come to work and kill animals.

No we don’t wake up to do that.
We love these dogs just as much as our own pets.
The owners failed them.
Humans failed them.
They do suffer more out of the shelter more than you think.
They get diseases, injuries and worse abuse by those who hate them.

Yes it sucks being a kill shelter.
No the government doesn’t have the amount of funds needed to change this.

The cruel reality is there are more animals than space no matter how much money you have.

If you say we only kill, than please step up and save them.

Stop the negative.

We are trying for better outcomes, we are trying for more space but even more space does not mean we wont fill up.

It’s sad humans don’t love or care for them as much as we think.

There is more neglect, abuse and animals dumped than we think.

We don’t get as much help as we’d like.

Yes we are pushing for a better shelter, we are pushing for to find more ways to save these babies.

If you have resources to help us or any advice that can help please reach out….

We are extremely short handed and this job is not for everyone so we have been extra busy and not in the office all the time so please be patient with us.

Have a blessed day and remember to be kind, this job has its downs and you see a lot of bad but we strive everyday to keep them safe and to go above and do our best….. I want to make a public comment for all who think we just come to work and kill animals.
