PLEASE READ:

All customers that plan on purchasing a baby, Please read carefully.
As of 10/1/2022 we will no longer be raising any babies due to our health we are rehoming adults.
Thank you for 33 years of raising wonderful family birds for everyone.

We are located in Crown Point Indiana 46307.
All deposits are NONREFUNDABLE No exceptions. Deposits are given to hold your baby until they are ready to go to their forever home and again are non refundable.
Please bring a pet carrier, No bird cages or anything like that will be necessary. If you are unable to bring something I will provide a box perfect for transport. PICK UP must be within 5 days of your notice that they are ready. After 5 days I will no longer hold the baby for you, again deposits are NONREFUNDABLE. Your baby needs to be picked up so you can start to bond with them, they need their owners Love.

THIS INCLUDES flights planned for babies as well. WE ONLY book flights when we have 2 customers wanting babies due to drive time there and back.
IF YOU HAVE A VACATION planned speak up and do not assume that I know when you’ve planned your vacation. You will be given an estimated time frame for pick up when you give your NONREFUNDABLE deposit. Please make me aware then if we need to make arrangements. That should be enough for you to plan around vacations. I DO NOT have space or extra cages for babies waiting for pickup. Everyone has a life and plans as well and I do plan things around my babies. So again please don’t assume and notify me when you make your NONREFUNDABLE deposit.
We are updating this because we’ve had a lot of people asking how the process works. Note there are many breeders that do this due to people placing deposits and then either won’t answer back or when they do answer it’s, I’ve changed my mind I want a refund. Please answer back because again your deposit is NONREFUNDABLE you will not get it back.
Many times we have to tell others we don’t have any available not knowing you’ve changed your mind. It’s also incredibly unfair to the baby to have to wait for it’s forever home simply because you’ve backed out.
When picking your baby, do NOT pick from a picture. If you want to pick from pictures then moving forward I will start posting babies with band numbers if you pick it, it’s yours. Once babies are ready you will be notified to set up date and time. I DON’T let you pick deposit placement for those wanting babies on 3 feedings a day or those wanting babies on only comfort feedings. So best policy is to pick as you set up date and time when you’re notified that your baby is ready.
ALL BABIES WILL BE DNA’d
ON YOUR RECEIPT AT THE TOP there will be the babies hatch date and band number, KEEP THE RECEIPT. Your digital copy of DNA will be sent to your messenger or cell number which ever one you prefer. PLEASE keep it and make copies! After so long I CAN NOT get copies to to resend.
I just wanted to clear up repost for everyone.
LASTLY, when you set up a time Please go by the time arranged unless you contact me, remember it’s just like a doctors office etc etc.
APPOINTMENT is needed, you can’t just walk in whenever or show up hours late. I’m sorry but I feel things needed to be added and updated as things continuously happening with our world lately.
ALL CUSTOMERS are redirected to my page so they can see and read our policy on babies.
Note this has been posted and is being moved up to the top of my post, againonce baby goes to it’s new home we can’t control environment, air etc so if something happens to your baby without a necropsy their is nothing I can do. I don’t refund, don’t replace , I don’t give another baby. Too much can happen that is out of my hands once baby goes to its new home. Please follow your instructions on back of d n a sheet I give u on day of pick up.
Baby on comfort feeding , that is just a comfort of formula to fill up help baby adjust to its new home.
They are weaned but it helps many to adjust with comfort of formula. Which most will offer this from few days up to week . If at anytime you feel question ask , but avian vet is best place for answers when you feel or think something is wrong .
Again avianvet only for necropsy would be only way to determine if something happens to your bird once out of my care.
Please understand , you will be referred to this if anything possibly happens.

With heavy heart, I post this. We will be rehoming all our pairs of birds,equipment etc. Everything we own for birds will be let go. We have pairs that produce beautiful colors. All proven sit and feed. I can’t ship at this time. Due to knee surgery . But will be posting to rehome all.
Deposit holds till pick up. Which must be done before December 15,2022.
I have only one single female Quaker of Opaline green that is proven as well.
These are breeder birds some could be handled for me, but not sure for others.
Some cages can go but birds must be sold before that cage can be sold. Pm for information. I do have someone who has first pickings . These are high quality birds, with beautiful babies .
No low ball offers accepted.
