It is a bitter sweet day at the hospital as Dr. Fisher hangs up her veterinary coat one last time. She has been such a big component of Crossroads Animal Hospital from the very beginning and her prescence here will be missed every day. She has touched so many lives through the work she does, but most importantly just by the person she is. We know it's not good bye and as sad as it makes all of us, we are so excited for her to enjoy her retirement with her family and finally get to enjoy life to the fullest. Please help us in wishing Dr. Fisher a happy and healthy retirement filled with lots of love, adventures, and memories. We love you Fish!!!!! 💙

Tis the season for giving, so we are sponsoring a giving tree at the hospital. There are tags with donation items for local shelters and rescues. The 4 organizations that we picked to do donations for this year include:

- Fried's Cat Shelter
- Gary Animal Control
- Lake County Animal Control
- Kankakee County Humane Society

Each one of these organizations go above and beyond to care for animals in need. Please feel free to stop in and check out the tree. If you choose to grab a ticket and donate items to one of the above organizations, donations can be given to us or directly sent to the organization itself.

A New Addition to a Great Community!

The idea of Crossroads Animal Hospital came a few years ago from the three owners of Hobart Animal Clinic in Hobart, Indiana. Hobart Animal Clinic has been in business since 1954, serving the community and their clients in a walk-in type facility for multiple generations. Our goal was to expand our outreach and provide the same high quality service to dogs and cats in another community. Crossroads Animal Hospital is excited to be a part of the Region! Dedicated veterinarians who have lived in the area are now here to care for your dogs and cats in our full-service animal hospital right here in your backyard!
