It’s season. The green are wild from around the orchard and the purple ones are from my home . If you’re out looking for also keep an eye out for asparagus spears some of them have started to leaf out, but the picking is still good.

Orchard was in full bloom this morning when I pulled up. I’ve been working on restoring some of these trees on this old orchard for just over a year. Let’s hope🤞for a fantastic September harvest.

Planning on harvesting some amazing roadside melons, tomatoes, peppers and sweet corn back here. Don’t quit the house just yet! I am still a no till nerd, but I’m trying something that is new to me, to transition this field to organic. Eventually this will become a light till field, that grows its own straw mulch.

One of the best beginner veggies to grow. No fertilizer necessary, just basic biology and good timing = 8-10ft pea trellises every time. Tips/ fresh compost! use trellis. plant mid March here in our zone. harvest all the peas when flushing. Save 3rd flush for next year seed.
