Meet Rio, he's a 2 year old, neutered male long hair German Shepherd, up to date on vaccines and microchipped. He is a great dog, but would do best in a home with adults, no children under 10. Thank you to the Chicago Hounds Rugby Organization for inviting Assisi Animal Foundation and many other wonderful Animal Rescues and Shelters throughout the Chicagoland area for their “Annual Dog Day” Event at SeatGeek Stadium 🐶 🐾

Our team had a blast coming to this event, and we can’t wait to find Sonny, Cher, and Charlie their forever home ♥️

We love being able to help others share in our mission of “Saving Animals and Serving People”

We were thrilled to make a special appearance on WGN TV Adopt-A-Pet Segment today to introduce some of our adorable adoptable friends: Daisy, Zena, Sonny, Cher, and Charlie — all looking for loving forever homes! 💕🐶

But there's more fun in the forecast for this Weekend!! This Sunday at 1:00 PM, we’ll be at the Chicago Hounds Rugby Game for their exciting "Dog Day" Event at SEAT Geek Stadium in Bridgeview, IL! 🏉🐾

Please show your support and come out and meet our furry crew, along with other amazing animal rescues and shelters from around Chicagoland. It’s going to be a fun-filled day celebrating pets, community, and of course — rugby! 🐕🎉

We are overjoyed to share that Innocenza, our sweet and beautiful 2-year-old cat, is going home today! 🎉🐾 She will be joining her wonderful new family along with her new older brother, Bangs – a handsome 3 year old orange tabby. (not pictured) 😻

We couldn’t be more thrilled that Innocenza has found her perfect match. It's always a heartwarming moment when we know one of our animals is starting a new chapter filled with love and care. ❤️

We are excited to share that our sweet 15-month-old girl, Misty, is ready to find her forever family! 🏡✨ She’s been with us for 7 weeks now, and we know she’s going to make someone very happy.

Misty will be at Petco in McHenry today, and we’d love for you to come meet her during our adoption hours from 9 AM to 1 PM. 🐾

We’re at Petco in McHenry 7 days a week, so stop by anytime to meet Misty or any of our other adoptable kitties.
