Here’s ARNEY! This 2 year old ball of energy is looking for his future family! He came to us as a stray, he’s since been neutered, vaccinated, chipped etc and he’s READY TO GO!
He is very treat motivated, has a beautiful smile, and loves to play!
Since we don’t know his history we are going to suggest he go to a home without cats, kids that are easily knocked over, we are unsure at this time if he’d be ok with other dogs (he plays well through a fence.)
Due to his strength (he’s about 50 lbs), training would be GREAT for him.

Spirit! This 7 year old GSD (mix) is waiting for the right match!
It has been decided (after several meet and greets) that it is best that she is an only pet.
She is sweet, smart and friendly (with people and an occasional dog).
If she wants your attention she can be a little mouthy, but not in a naughty way. She could use some manners (she likes to jump and give hugs).
Our adoption fees are $60. And under thru the bend of the month.

And, he’s off! It’s been a whirlwind for “Rex” (Geeno) since he was found in McHenry. We have all loved having him here, and he will be missed. Thank you Paws & Affect Animal Rescue for coming to get this big boy and give him the forever he deserves 💕

Look at this handsome fella! Ebony is about 5 years old, and 12 lbs.
He came to us as a stray, with a wound on his arm. His wound has healed, but the hair is still missing.
This guy is a bit shy, and nervous. With patience and time he loves to be pet, and brushed! You’ll even get purring out of him 💕
We don’t know if he’s good with other pets, but a QUIET home that is willing to give him time to decompress would be best suited for this sweetie.

DID YOU KNOW WE HAVE A BARN CAT PROGRAM?
With all of the cats that come into our care, most are perfect indoor/house cats. Sometimes we get cats that are not the right fit to live inside a home. A few reasons are that they may be unpredictable, not terrific with people, or prefer to mark instead of use a cat box. We want the best outcome for everyone. For some, a heated barn is the best solution.
Our cats are all vetted, vaccinated and microchipped. The fee for a barn cat is $40.

Romeo (5), Connor (3), Kitkit (4)and Sylvester (5) all came from the same home. They were quite shy and nervous at first. Once they get to know you they are very loving and want attention…which they get a lot of (thanks to our volunteers, and staff).
They appear to enjoy a quiet environment, and may do best without small kids.

Bugs (bunny) loves belly rubs! This 6 year old sweetie is looking for his forever home. He’s potty trained, and does great on a leash. We don’t think he had ever been socialized, so a home with no other pets may be best. His previous owner did say he was good with kids.
This brindle bulldog is a very good boy, you’re gonna want to meet him!

Winnie! This 12 year old Shih Tzu was brought to us when her owners could no longer care for her. She is such a doll! Her previous owner said she is good with cats, dogs and kids!

They range in age from 1-12 years old. Our adoption fees are reduced (60. and under) through the end of the month. All cats have been vetted (spay/neuter, vaccinated, tested, dewormed and microchipped)
