Due to being short staffed we will be open for DAYCARE by reservation only. Please Reply via email if you need to reserve a spot for daycare 5/10-5/12. Please specify what day(s) you need. Limited spaces available. We ask that you make your reservation as soon as possible to secure your spot. The rest of the week days will stay the same and no reservation required. We are in the process of training new staff members. This issue will be resolved as quickly and safely as possible. As always, safety is our #1 priority for our pack 2 or 4 legged.

Hello,

We would like to let you know that ComEd will be doing work on the power grid in our area and this will affect our phone system. These outages will be intermittent.

For those who are dropping off Monday AM for daycare or boarding services, we suggest that you try calling when you are dropping off. If you cannot reach us via phone, we will also have an employee stationed at the front desk to help identify those who park in our drop-off lanes to expedite the process. If we have not been able to see or accommodate you with either of those options, please enter the vestibule and ring the doorbell for assistance.

We ask that you please be patient as we work through this unforeseen issue and know that we are striving to ensure that we give you the most efficient service possible.

Job Type: Part-time/full-time 20-40 hours per week

Base Pay: $13 per hour or more BOE

Pay Frequency: Weekly

Location: Crystal Lake, IL

Established dog daycare/ boarding/ grooming facility located in Crystal Lake looking for a mature candidate to fill an open position. This position can be full-time or part-time based on the needs of the candidate and the needs of the facility. This position is paid hourly.

Job requirements:

Maintaining and ensuring the health and safety of the animals in our care by supervising the activities of the animals at all times, feeding, bathing, and constant cleaning/sanitizing duties of all areas of the facility as deemed necessary per policy and management.

Contact with f***s, urine, and vomit are and/ will be a part of the job and will be required to clean and sanitize soiled areas on a consistent basis.

Must be able to bend, lift up to 50lbs, and be on your feet for 5-8hrs per day in all climate conditions.

Must be 17yrs or older.

Must have reliable transportation and the ability to be on call as needed.

Skills Required:

Must be able to communicate effectively, adapt to a loud work area, work in a team environment, think on your feet, multi-task, attention to detail, quick learner, flexibility to adapt to a constantly changing environment, safety conscience, have a working knowledge of computer systems, customer service skills, ability to engage in customer interactions, take/ receive payments, and have excellent time management skills.

Unlimited earning potential!

Established dog daycare/ boarding/ grooming facility located in Crystal Lake looking for an experienced and certified dog groomer to join our team. This position can be full-time or part-time based on the needs of the candidate and volume demand. This position will be a non-1099 employee of the facility.

The grooming department operates independently from daycare/boarding with own designated area. High volume demand with unlimited earning potential. Other groomer in the facility is currently booked out 4 months+ in advance with 10+ calls per day of booking requests thus building your clientele base will be quick.

Requirements:

At least 1+ years of grooming experience.

Maintaining and ensuring the health and safety of the animals in our care at all times, requiring UTD vaccinations at check-in before services are rendered.

Computer software experience is preferred. Training will be provided and expected to maintain client files and corresponding notes, vaccination records... etc.

Ability to communicate effectively with clients, ownership, management, and staff.

Ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 50lbs.

Detail-oriented and take pride in your provided services.

Excellent customer service skills to uphold the company culture and values.

Ability to work independently and as a team player with all facility employees.

Must have or can obtain all grooming tools necessary for services provided.

At least 1+ years of grooming experience.

Look book of previous grooms for consideration of the position is required.

Weekend availability is preferred but not required.


Position Perks:

All bathing supplies are paid for by the facility.

Appointment booking is provided by facility staff.

Most social media marketing will be provided by management at your request.

Ability to set your own prices and special offers.

Ability to set your own schedule.

Great percentage structure and 100% of tips earned from your grooms.

Bathers will be provided on a case-by-case basis and by availability of daycare staff.

Ability to hire your own personal bather, with ownership approval, if volume deems necessary.
