Human beings are the only species stupid enough to stare at the sun. Please stop spreading panic about the safety of your pets during the eclipse. Animals do not know that an eclipse is coming, nor that the celestial bodies lining up to block the sun is what will cause it to be dark for a couple hours. There will not be mass hysteria in the animal kingdom. Animals have survived solar eclipses on this planet long before now, they will be ok.

I mean, if you catch your dog staring at the sun on Monday, then maybe be concerned about retina health, but just being outside will not make them go blind. 👍
