We are completely overwhelmed with sadness. Please excuse the extended post. When one of our founding studs, Copper, needed a forever home, we were blessed to find a lady who was his soulmate. Copper received all the attention he deserved and went everywhere with her, including a trip to Western North Carolina to visit family.

We have known that they have been missing since the floods caused by Hurricane Helene. It is with great sadness that we inform our friends and family that they were located together in a submerged vehicle.

As Americans, we should make sure that Americans are taken care of in time of crisis. Unfortunately, human remains are still being recovered in this disaster. However, you see nothing about it on the news. Our heart is broken for her family. All we can pray for is that they are together in a better place.

Their story serves as a powerful reminder of the fragility of life and the need for compassion and preparedness. May their souls find peace, and may their memory inspire acts of kindness and resilience.
