Remember this nearly 2 years ago? Haha(kinda bombed my movie premier, didn't I?) Lol...
I saw where we're supposed to get some decent rain in the coming next two or 3 weeks....let's hope.....still mostly dry 'round here.

Feb 4th nursery and farm update:
HUGE WEEK END SALE!!!! Starts Tomorrow thru Sunday.(Feb 5th-9th, prices on each photo caption)

Farm:
Blues, Peach/Nectarine trees are happily-for-me still mostly dormant, so tempted to feed them now and with highs in the 80's in the future, it's about "go-time". (March 15th is the "free and clear" time for frost/freeze threats historically for me, takes about two weeks for fertilizer to kick in and two more to peak bloom/fruitset...I think were good now, tree gonna do what she wants, you know 😉 ) , don't want baby shoots and damaged fruits yet).

Nursery:
Lots of trees and bushes to sell and they're getting ready to pop. To name a few;

Peach x2 variety (tropical snow/beauty)
Nectarine x2 " (sunraycer/sunmist)
Citrus x9ish "...........

PS, if you want to grow your own fruit, now is the time to plant....something you get now and plant could give you a 30% rebate in 3 months.(ie. Blueberry Bushes for $12ea may have two *handfuls of berries on them by May....and a whole lot tastier than a $4 clamshell pack from "who knows where"...

As much as I wanted to roll the windows down at 5:30am this morn...baby it was cold outside...haha(photo #1 and #3-4 @3:06pm, respectively)...low of 27⁰ish...

Have been running the nursery sprinklers since 11:30pm. 32⁰ kicked in around midnight(or just before)...

All said though, farm and plants seem to have taken it like a champ...mi' biggest fear was for the citrus trees, and early signs look like it was a non-event for them... 💪

[citrus trees when dormant-ed by continuous low temperatures(like we have had this year) are much more freeze hardy...]
fyi, if you have some of your own trees, and we ever have an "Indian summer" until like Dec+-, and get a hard freeze...whatch out/take care of them...

enjoy the outdoors now, lol...

Blueberry fields are looking exquisite. Back on a semi-regular water regimen now and replanted all the 70ish blank spots in the rows 3-4 months ago. Wishing for a huge crop this year.(May-June)

Four year old Peach and Nectarines are looking bad to the bone...might produce 5 pick up truckloads this year...(May and June,starting with Nectarines). Think I'm gonna thin them out real heavy this year, and have less quantity but bigger size.

Recently planted (3)two-row 3-line trellis'.
4 rows of thornless Blackberries and 2 rows of Raspberries...won't have many this first year, but maybe some of the "original founding charter members, lol" longtime favorite cutomers(yr14 now, you know who you are 😃) can get a few...haha

June 8th Update:

Thank you to everyone who came for the early Blueberries....there is only a tiny bit left(of first wave, more late this week)...the rabbiteye variety are coming in also.

Nectarines are ripening perfectly now, should be ALOT this weekend....come on out...
Also, a few Peaches available...

Blueberry picking has begun....tastiest
early variety Berries I've ever had...come And Get 'em...my 12 yr old price of $30/gallon still stands (5 #)

Nectarines will start picking in about 10 days. Peaches and Apples in about a month.

Tons of 1 gallon Blueberry plants for sale...$10ea. or 12 for $100...

As far as the stone fruit... .. usually the nectarines come in first and as they go out the Peaches come in. Will have quite a few Plums after that. Nectarines should start in about 10-14 days....gonna have alot, help me move them to people that like good things....SHARE/LIKE/FOLLOW/SHARE SHARE SHARE
