Please be mindful about what you flush down your sewer lines, anything that goes down your line can affect lift station pumps and could possibly block your service line, the pictures below shows what it looks like when the pump is clogged and clean. The Third picture is all of the items that shouldn’t be flushed down your sewer line. The most flushed item being baby wipes, even though they say “flushable” doesn’t mean they will pass through a liftstation pump or get clogged in your sewer line. It is very time consuming and costly to maintain and replace lift station pumps. Thanks for your cooperation, City of Cuba Sewer Department

Animal Shelter is hiring

The City of Cuba is looking for a full time Animal Control Officer. ACO Cameron is leaving to pursue a career in law enforcement and was accepted into the academy. We will miss him so much but this is a great opportunity for someone that loves to work with animals.
