✨Meet Coal!✨

He is our PET OF THE WEEK! 🐶
From Paws Up Rescue LLC

“Coal is still hoping someone wants a puppy even though the holidays are over.

He's ½ fraidy cat ½ lab 🤣 no, really, we believe he is lab, aussie mix and will be on the shorter and smaller side. He's just 6 months old and would love to find a family with another dog or two to play with. He was adopted last year, but returned due to house breaking issues. Since being back in rescue, Coal has done amazing at house breaking, he's had no accidents. He has tried his hand at demand barking, but, we don't allow him to get away that. He's a puppy, he will need structure and guidance to become the best boy ever.

If you think Coal would be a good fit for your family, please fill out the application below 👇

You can find my form "Adoption Application" at: https://form.jotform.com/232132764560149

He is available for adoption through Paws Up Rescue here in Cullman📍! Adoption application, fee, and contract do apply. For more information on Coal please contact the rescue directly!

✨Meet Buddy!✨

He is our very first ever PET OF THE WEEK! 🐶
From Paws Up Rescue LLC

“Buddy is the life of the party! He's a ridiculously energetic and happy 2-year-old, weighing in at a svelte 35-40 pounds. This little dude's already a pro at crate training and scheduling, but don't worry, he's not too boring. When meeting new dogs, he gets a little loud and excited, but who can blame him? He's just trying to get this paw-ty started! Based on his occasional barking (and we mean occasional - he's not a chatterbox), we're pretty sure he's got some beagle in him, but google tells us bird dog or feist 🤷🏻‍♀️. This affectionate little goofball loves treats and snuggles, so if you're looking for a best bud, Buddy's your guy!”

He is available for adoption through Paws Up Rescue here in Cullman📍! Adoption application, fee, and contract do apply. For more information on Buddy please contact the rescue directly!

Help us help Buddy find his new human! Please share!

Have you heard about giardia?
-
Giardia is a common parasite that can cause severe symptoms in young, small breed, low body weight animals. Adult pets may not experience extreme symptoms but it's crucial to get them checked if they show any abnormalities.
-
Giardia is spread through contaminated food, water, and soil, and can infect both animals and people.
-
Did you know that giardia can lead to diarrhea, vomiting, and weight loss in your furry friend? It's important to keep an eye on their stool consistency and overall health to ensure they are happy and healthy.
-
This parasite can easily be detected by a quick in house swab test, with results in just under 10 minutes. If your pet does test positive for this parasite they will require a 7 day, at home, oral treatment for the infection to resolve.

If you have any questions regarding Giardia or your pets symptoms feel free to call our office anytime Monday through Friday 7:30am to 5:00pm or Saturdays 8am to 12pm.
