I did not plan on falling in love with this breed .. i did not plan on another dog show or mutiple dogs . All thanks to Gary & Anne Bohannon .

But here i am dog shows, performanceevents, training and some handling .

Three new international champions for 3 Boz Labradors of chase city, va. This was my first time to attend and handle at one of these shows . We enjoyed the weekend for sure !

What you see on here is a love for my dogs . TikTok, instagram and of course Facebook all have pictures and videos of my furry kids . I am so proud of their accomplishments and their willingness to learn new things . A lot of time, hard work and money goes into a dog that is proven in the show ring and on the field . So much pride when we “firgure something out “ then we can move to the next step. This year Anne, Gary and myself plan our first litter of puppies together . Health testing consists of not only dna but X-rays of hips and elbows(ofa) , heart and eye clearances . Good Temperaments need to be there as well. I compete with them to prove what they are and I take a lot of pride in them. We listen to those with many more years experience than we have with this breed and take their advice as needed . They are not just dogs but an integral part of our lives .

We had a great weekend in Columbiana . Seger won the breed from the classes both days he was entered and Bridget acquired four more qualifying fast cat runs ! One more and she should have her BCAT! Baby lab Stevie won her class on Sunday and made some huge progress with another lab that just needs to learn his new job ! Very proud of all these kids !

Chara’ Greek for grace and joy . I have spent my life with dogs, competing at AKC conformation shows and performance events .. for a number of years I handled professionally and had the opportunity to show a few really nice labs . My heart at that time was with my amazing sighthounds.( which a couple still live with me and grace my couch and bed) .
A couple of years ago I purchased a lab puppy to be a service dog for a dear friend of mine .. unfortunately he was WAY to much dog for that kind of service work.. but I fell in love with the breed and met Gary and Anne Bohannon of 3 Boz labs in Virginia.. I was buying a performance puppy from them but came home with two more to show. But back to my first Labrador that was supposed to be a service dog .. he now resides with a law enforcement officer in Atlanta and has recovered $350,000 of narcotics at the main post office there . He is loved and offers his amazing service to us still today .
Currently we are completing health testing for our very first litter of babies ! It’s very exciting as this is a group effort with myself, Gary and Anne . We are thrilled to have become such great friends over the past couple of years . So enjoy the photos and news of event results and planned litters for the future !
