In flyball, the start/finish time is triggered when the dog crosses the line, and while a nose-to-nose pass is ideal for speed, any part of the dog's body (whether on the ground or airborne) can break the beam to register the time.

Here’s Jinx, not only breaking the finish time with her leg but also setting a new personal best of 4.55! 🎉 Way to go little potato!! 🥔🤩

We had a fantastic weekend in Perry, Ga at the Winter Wonderland Cluster.
Groot made his Debut at 6 months old, and Rumor tagged along. I am so proud of these guys this weekend.
On Friday Rumor got WB (No Points), and Groot got RWD his first time in the ring Under Judge: Antonio Molina
On Saturday Rumor Received a 3 Point Major (Pending AKC) with WB, BOW, and Owner Handler BOB under judge: Caroline A Herbel
On Sunday It was Groot's turn to receive his first point (Pending AKC) with WD, BOW and Owner Handler BOB under Judge: Nancy D Simmons.
Rumor got RWB
We had a lot of fun, enjoying the weekend with good people and beautiful Boston terriers.

So proud of this lug. Shooter - Argo’s EQ Double Shot has been going every weekend to the shows with us, even though he isn’t entered just yet, he has been bomb proof and walks around the show grounds like he owns the place, and he is so Chill!
I can’t wait to get him in the ring!

When you get your 8 week old puppies, please keep these images in mind. Their bones do not even touch yet. They plod around so cutely with big floppy paws and wobbly movement because their joints are entirely made up of muscle, tendons, ligaments with skin covering. Nothing is fitting tightly together or has a true socket yet.

When you run them excessively or don't restrict their exercise to stop them from overdoing it during this period you don't give them a chance to grow properly. Every big jump or excited bouncing run causes impacts between the bones. In reasonable amounts this is not problematic and is the normal wear and tear that every animal will engage in.

When you're letting your puppy jump up and down off the lounge or bed, take them for long walks/hikes, you are damaging that forming joint. When you let the puppy scramble on tile with no traction you are damaging the joint.

You only get the chance to grow them once. A well built body is something that comes from excellent breeding and a great upbringing-BOTH, not just one.

Once grown you will have the rest of their life to spend playing and engaging in higher impact exercise. So keep it calm while they're still little baby puppies and give the gift that can only be given once.

No points for the Argo Crew this weekend, but the dogs are getting better with every show, and most importantly I took the best dogs home.
Little Mark (Now in his home with Janet Logan Johnson) Pulled a BOB and a Group 2 in BPup, handled by me. He also got tons of compliments.
Rumble won his class and was looked at hard by the judge but didn't pull any wins this weekend, and he has improved with every show, and won the hearts of some bystanders who took a bunch of pics of him.
Rumor pulled a RWB today, and is getting better with every show.

Phoenix (shown by: Regina Branham) won the heart of the judge but not enough to get in the ribbons.
My boy Shooter - Argo's Double Shot finally got an official call name.
Shooter, Mark, and Otto all passed their Caer exams with flying colors.
Most importantly we had a blast this weekend, even though it was bittersweet seeing Mark go to his new home, I will miss that boy for sure. It was great seeing everyone. Kimberlee Ogle Stephens, Bronson Boston Terrier, Sue Gay, Richard Chamlee, Vera Susan Chamlee, Marc Canter and I bought a nice lead made by: Scarlett Hickman-Babb for a great price.

Excited to see everyone again in Murfeesboro in a couple weeks.
