Griz and the rest of his Feather Point teammates survived day 2 at the Triple Crown today. Beautiful scenery made the Land Series a joy to watch as the dogs and handlers navigated a massive field filled with hay bales. The afternoon was warm and the Upland series left the dogs, handlers, shooters and Judges with their tongues hanging out. , , Many more pictures with eventually get posted her and on the Wet Dogs Photography page as time allows. Big Day tomorrow for all the remaining dogs.

Pitstop at Slim's - Following a successful weekend running an AKC test in MN the Feather Point Retriever team stopped at Slim's Service on the way out of town for some new tires, and to sign a few pawprints for National Dog Day before heading west once more. This weekend the main event is the APLA Triple Crown in Freeman, SD. Pat and I will be there cheering all the dogs on. , , ,

Pitstop in MN - After a busy weekend in MN running an AKC test which was highly successful for the Feather Point Retrievers team. The Feather Point Team then headed to Slim's Service where they got some new tires, and signed some autographs before hitting the road again enroute Freeman, SD and the Triple crown event. Thanks to Blake and Landin for taking such good of all the dogs on such a big trip. And...Griz picked up his first Master Pass at an AKC event.

Griz and the rest of the gang from Feather Point Retrievers continue their trip to South Dakota this week. It will be an exciting time for all the handlers, owners, trainers and everyone who enjoys watching and working with these beautiful and talented dogs. I'll be trying to capture the action each day. I look forward to meeting new people and seeing all the great work by these dogs. ,

On the Road Again - Griz and a sizable group of Feather Point Retriever student dogs will be heading west this week. First to Minnesota for an AKC test next weekend and then on to South Dakota for the Triple Crown. I'll be in SD watching and photographing the action. I may have told the dogs Blake was planning to take them all to a Buc-ee's on the way. Good luck to all!

Griz got his 4xGMPR Certificate and is now signed up for the Triple Crown. So many people helped Griz attain this goal but special thanks to Blake Haddock and the Feather Point Retrievers team and to Neil Selby who got us off to a great start.

4xGMPR! Griz had a great weekend in Fenwick, Michigan where he passed both APLA tests earning his 4xGMPR title. He is now qualified to compete in the Triple Crown event this Fall. Special thanks to all the folks who endured some cold, wet conditions on Saturday to run the test. And of course, to Feather Point Retriever's Blake Haddock who gave up his weekend to handle Griz. We met some wonderful new dog peeps and I got to take a bunch of pictures which I will be posting this week on the APLA and Wet Dogs pages. ; ;
