🐎Hello all!! Excited for blanket pickups starting soon! My apologies for the confusion caused by my personal account being hacked, but we're back on track with admin abilities transferred to my new account.
Please print off forms and make sure all bags with blankets have a work sheet. ( they can be copies) If we are picking up directly at your farm (at least 15 blankets), or whether you are dropping off at one of our drop points, each bag will need a work sheet with all the info filled out. If you are using a drop point, please let us know which store you are using. Thank you!! 🐎

Hello horse-lovers!!! 🐴 We are starting to get busy with pick ups! Hopefully the cold weather is coming to an end!! Please make sure that your blankets are in bags and paperwork with your info and blanket instructions are in each bag. (You can print out worksheets at www. Spincycle-spec, or pick up a worksheet at our drop point stores). We pick up A LOT of blankets in black trash bags, so it’s imperative that each bag has paperwork! Make sure your worksheet has the drop point location listed on it!! Please be as specific about repairs as possible… including whether you want leg and butt straps replaced. Some people remove those before washing, so we won’t know if you want new ones unless you inform us. We will pick up at your farm if you have over 20 blankets, but you will need to use a drop point if you have less than that. We are being especially cautious considering the price of gas this year.

Hello horse lovers!! Spring has sprung and I think it's here to stay! 💐 We have started our rounds. We have a new system this year..so blankets will be turned around faster!! Yay!! 👍👍
If you need a pick up from your barn, please give us a call at the shop 540-825-8989 so we can arrange that. It would be so helpful if you could print off a CSR worksheet, which is located on our website under the red tab (printable forms), www.spincycle-spec.com. Please put a worksheet in every bag. If you can't get a worksheet printed, just make sure you write down your full info, blanket descriptions, and what you want done on a piece of paper and put it in bag. It's also very helpful to us if you label the outside of your bag... Duck tape works fine. Please please please... DO NOT put wet blankets in bags! They WILL mildew very quickly in the heat. 😷
We offer waterproofing and repairs, but we will not do either of these if they are not listed on your worksheet. If you would like us to repair anything that we see necessary, you can just write RIN (repair if necessary), but if you want something specific, please write details. Also: we DO NOT repair blankets that we have not washed. Message us, or call our shop with any questions. Thank you for your business!!!

Hello all you horse lovers!! 🏇Maybe it will actually warm up by May. We have picked up very few horse blankets and usually have a rump load of them by now. Come on warm weather! Old man winter has to be tired.
When you feel it's safe to let go of your blankets give us a call so we can arrange a pick up (if you have over 15 blankets), or advise you as to where the closet drop point is.
Please be sure to bag your blankets and fill out the forms at the drop points fully. PLEASE DO NOT put wet blankets in bags...we do not care how dirty they are, do not feel the need to rinse them off. If you are with a farm, bag your blankets and put a paper in your bag with your name, farm name, phone #, email, a short description of the blankets, and what you would like done. Ex: wash, H20 proof, repair all, or what you would specifically like repaired, and if you need leg straps or butt straps. I know it sounds like a lot, but it saves us a lot of hours of phone calls and guess work. We do a massive amount of blankets from spring until fall and the more information you can give us the better.
This year we have decided that we will not waterproof a blanket that we don't feel will do well. We know waterproofing is expensive, it is for us too. If you want us to waterproof it regardless, we will do so, but will not redo it if it doesn't take. Cheap blankets, such as the Mio's and Tough One's may not do very well. If your blanket is under 600 denier, it may not hold the waterproofing and we would hate for you to waste your hard earned money on it.

Hello all you horse lovers!! It's a beautiful day...not sure how many more we will have before old man winter settles in. Last year hit everyone hard...brrrrrr! Be prepared. If you need blankets washed, repaired, and/or waterproofed, nows the time. You can take them to your nearest drop point or, if you have more than ten, we will pick them up from your barn.
If you are ready for the cold, we hope you have a great winter season...stay safe...see you next spring. ☺️
Also: we are washing, repairing, and waterproofing blankets for the horses that were rescued from the farm in Somerset. If you have blankets that you don't need, please give us a call. It's such a sad situation, but we are so thankful for the wonderful people that have participated in the rescue of all the animals. We need to join forces and help them where we can. Thank you!!!

Once again...its that time of year. What a winter!! 😳
Get those blankets cleared out early.......we are filling up fast!! If you have more than 10, we will pick them up, or use one of our awesome drop points. Don't forget about our spring special....one free blanket with ten! That can be a huge savings for you guys with lots of blankets!! Finally starting to slow down after a very busy blanket season. There's is still time to get your blankets in before old man winter is here to stay.
A very big thank you to our awesome customers who we appreciate so much!!!! We will see you in the spring!!! Please remember to get your blankets in early, things get a little "hairy" here in the fall. Don't forget that we continue to wash, repair, and waterproof blankets through the winter months.

It's that time of year again! Dirty blankets (and ESPECIALLY dirty this year) cluttering your barn. Well...we have a solution for that! Let us come get your blankets, or drop them off at one of our 5 drop points. We can wash, repair, and waterproof them, pack them neatly and return them ready for storage until winter. Get them in early...don't wait until September...your blankets will pay the price if they sit all summer in the heat dirty.
