Huge congratulations to Bob Chapeski and D'Spot GSF on their many successes in Training and 1st Level so far this show season! Just to name a few, they earned a first out of eight with a 68.889% in the 1st Level Test of Choice at the 15th Annual Spokane Sport Horse Father's Day Dressage Classic II. Later, at the Dressage Under The Big Sky II, they earned a 69.4% and 2nd place in Training Level 3 Open. We are so excited to see this pair in action! D'Spot GSF is a 5-year-old gelding by Solomon Farm's Der Graf out of OMG GSF by Orleandro.
I have SO many congratulatory posts to make but first, introducing Flurry GSF, the 4th foal of 2023. Flurry GSF is a gold champagne filly by Fandango GSF - Grand Prix Dressage/Licenced Warmblood Stallion out of Confetti GSF by Champagne Ambassador. This adorable filly has a personality to match! She, like her full brother Falkor GSF is named after a dragon. Falkor is a dragon of luck, Flurry is an ice dragon. Flurry GSF will be kept for the breeding program. Falkor GSF is available!
Introducing foal #3 born May 9, 2023, Full Of Sass GSF! Full of Sass GSF is an Embryo Tranfer foal by Flint GSF out of Oh So Sassy GSF by Orleandro. Oh So Sassy GSF had big plans to be a show horse and field hunter so she couldn't bother with being a "Mom" at this point in her life! She is pictured with her person after earning first place out of 20 and Reserve Champion at Four Oaks Farm yesterday. Full of Sass GSF is not a pinto like her Mom but this filly has big plans to be noticed despite not having a single white hair on her body! She loves to be in the middle of things, show off her "moves" and her jumping prowess. This filly is going to be a lot of fun and very easy to keep clean! 🙃😉

On Star GSF, fondly called Oakley by all her friends, won the PHSA Young Hunter under saddle, ridden by Ellen Cabot in the Dixon Oval at the 2023 Devon Horse Show & Country Fair. Foal announcement #2! Introducing Feliz Estrella GSF. She is the 6th of another of my favorite crosses, Flint GSF x Donner Blume GSF v. Donnerwelt. This cross has done especially well in the hunter/jumper ring. This filly will have some big shoes to fill with her older siblings out there! Feliz Estrella GSF has a star and stripe/snip in the shape of a lit candle so we thought she had a "merry star". 🌟🕯This lovely filly is owned by Anna Purdy. She is going to be a LOT of fun 😃.
LONG overdue introduction to the first foal born in 2023!! Meet On Top GSF "Topper" who is by On Target GSF out of Special Delivery GSF by Sinclair B. This is one of my absolute favorite crosses! Number 4 of this cross doesn't disappoint; super friendly, playful, and athletic. We are going to hang on to this guy for a while and see how he develops. More foal announcements coming tomorrow!

Ol' Over Again GSF scored a 7.9 at his Westfalen foal inspection! This c**t LOVES to canter and didn't show off his big trot for the judges but he did show them his lovely well-balanced canter again and again 😆! Ol' Over Again GSF is by On Target GSF (Orleandro x Lucy Liu GSF v. Lynx) out of Damengluck GSF (Donnerluck x With Cinnamon GSF v. Weltstern). He received compliments from the judge such as: Well developed, Up-hill Build, Long legs,Correct, Good top-line and Good looking. This handsome guy is owned by the Van Engen family. Next up in the Westfalen Inspection announcements is Davignon GSF! Davignon GSF, lovingly known as "Davi", is by Eurequine, LLC's Dubarry - Hanoverian Stallion out of Fluer De Lis GSF by Flint GSF. This black c**t received all 8s for Type, Quality of Conformation, and Correctness. He earned comments such as good/solid type, attractive neck set, good topline, correct conformation, uphill trot, and good rhythm in movement. This special c**t is owned by Kendra Uusitalo. We look forward to watching him be developed in dressage, driving, and maybe a little jumping too. He is possibly going to be part of a driving team with his brother Domino GSF if they grow to be a good match in size. They will certainly match in color with both being black beauties! Back to Westfalen Inspection results!
Falafel GSF ~ earned a Premium award during her Westfalen N.A. Inspection. She is a black filly by Flint GSF (Weltstern/Lynx) out of Alala S (Apiro/Ukas) owned by Karen Pound of Pine Creek Sport Horses in Newtown PA. Falafel GSF received compliments from the judges such as: Sizey with a well-developed topline, very well-built hindquarter, free shoulder, and good rhythm/swing in movement. She has a wonderful disposition to match 💕. Congratulations Karen Pound! We hope she will become all you hope for and more. We look forward to watching her develop in your young horse program!!

Why, it's DeCanter GSF (by Eurequine, LLC's Dubarry - Hanoverian Stallion out of DeVine GSF v. Der Graf (Donnerhall/Pik Koenig) ! I love the way her foal coat is shedding out to look like she is wearing a superhero's mask 😂! She is going to be a lovely dark, almost black brown. She has not yet been through inspection, which will happen at the end of October. More on her next month! This lovely filly is available.

Long overdue Westfalen Inspection (Part 1) results! This is Daydreamer GSF by Dubarry out of Fulfilled Wish GSF (Fandango GSF x Calypso Musique v. Fabio) She received a premium award with a score of 8.0 with comments such as: good type, well developed, pretty face, good walk, active trot, free shoulder and good swing. Frappuccino GSF (Flint GSF x Calypso Musique GSF v. Champagne Ambassador) lovingly called "Chino" and Melia have two shows to celebrate this past week. 🎉 First, they earned Reserve Champion at Southern Heritage in the 2'6" schooling division with two seconds and a first. It was their first night show under lights! Next, they went to Oakland Heights and won first in the hack and two third place ribbons over fences. Excellent job Melia and Chino!! 🤩
Kudos and congratulations to Elizabeth Abbott and Flitwick GSF (Flint GSF x Donner Blume GSF v. Donnerwelt) for their win in the A/O Hunter 3'3 /3'6 Combined Handy at the Two Rivers Summer Festival II in Cu***ng, IA on August 10th. This pair is really taking off! We are excited to see them continue to excel in the hunter ring 🤩

Outer Banks GSF and his person Matthew Beasley are 1st out of 9 in the USDF Freestyle Test of Choice at Dressage at Kirby Hill in NY on August 8 with a 73.9% earning their USDF Bronze Freestyle bar!! They also achieved a personal best at Third Level with a score of 68.108% at that same show. Congratulations Matthew and Outer Banks GSF (Orleandro x Fondu GSF v. A huge shout out to Matthew Beasley and Outer Banks GSF (Orleandro x Fondu GSF v. Weltstern) lovingly known as "Billy" for their successful debut in third level at Sperry View Farm Centerline Events, LLC show with a 63.37% Third Level Test 3 on 07/13/22. They went on to do it again 9 days later at Windy Hollow Hunt’s July Show in New Jersey on 07/22/22, earning a 66.63% also in third level test 3. They also competed in two musical freestyles also at third level earning excellent scores well into the upper 60s giving them two notches toward their Bronze Freestyle Bar. The 2020 kids finally got to have a moment in the spotlight. The yearlings didn't get graded but they got to strut their stuff after being branded Westfalen. This is Crescendo GSF (Crumble x Late Night Musique GSF v. Le Mode). We are very excited about this yearling! He is being kept as a stallion prospect.

The GSF pregnant mares turned out in one of their favorite fields =) They can see most of the farm from this vantage point, it has sun, shade and lots and lots of grass! What more can a pregnant mare want? You would never guess that some are due in September given their roundness; especially Ms. Daisy (Donner Blume GSF - the liver chestnut with a blaze leading the pack)! Daisy is in foal to On Target GSF and we believe she is having a filly. Jim is looking forward to having an "Oops-A-Daisy GSF" 🙃 😉
