A big round of applause to PW Animal Advocates and Dave's Dogs for making this weekend's Dog adoptions a paws-itively huge success! With a grand total of 20 adoptions, including dogs, cats, rabbits, and even a duck, all these adorable critters have wiggled their way into new loving homes. Let's give a special farewell to Honey, a longtime resident who finally bid adieu after a whopping 78-day stay to start her new chapter with a loving family.

Here are the common signs of heat stroke in dogs and how to prevent it. 🐾

Heat stroke, or hyperthermia, happens when your dog’s internal temperature rises above their normal 103°. A temperature of 106° results in heat stroke and anything over 107° can mean organ failure and even death.

Meet Koda a so very handsome boy who is having everything guessed about him due to being a stray puppy covered in ticks and seemed so unloved…..Koda had a vet visit this week where they guessed him to be about 6months old and weighing 28lbs. Koda has come very far in the time he has spent at our shelter learning it’s fun to be a puppy but he is still needing a dedicated family that would be willing to change his life!! You can tell Koda wants to love and be someone’s best bud! We are needing everyone’s help in changing Koda’s life and helping him find the most perfect place to call home!!
