It is with great sorrow that I watched my first great stud, Spirit Hill Gryffindor, pass over the Rainbow Bridge and become a pup again. May he always chase the squirrels and sit beside the angels. Thanks buddy for all the memories and good times. Be at peace.

Visiting my first grandbaby, Calvin, with his parents in Arizona. He's a great little boy and his mother Taryn is an amazing mother. Going sightseeing today with the whole family and couldn't be happier.

Maggie (on green towel) and Phoenix (on blue towel) have had their babies! Phoenix had 11 on 11-27 and Maggie had 4 on 11-22, so Maggie has generously volunteered to raise 4 of Phoenix's. There's a little difference in side at the moment, but they'll catch up fast.
These are some really nice pups with plenty still available.

It is with heavy heart that our Siamese cat died today. Jo was a great kitty and I really think he was a "dog whisperer" since he got along with all of the canines and, in return, they didn't try to kill him. Others have not been so lucky.....

Attended the Queen City Mischief and Magic festival this past weekend. Located in Staunton, Virginia, the whole downtown got involved and it was truly magical. I went as Molly Weasley and a Deatheater. I just love the Harry Potter universe, as I'm sure the other 10,000 visitors did also. Enjoy!

In Alaska with my daughter, Taryn and my mom. The weather has been amazing since the beginning. Talk about winning the weather lottery!!
It's been wonderful and very educational. Everything here is more rugged, more wild, more free...I love it.
If you ever felt like visiting Alaska, I strongly encourage you to go. Life is good.

Breeding season has begun at Spirit Hill Springers. Gillyweed had a beautiful litter of 9 on 8-31-18 (pictured) and The Grey Lady also had a litter of 9 on 8-22-18. Lots of girl puppies! Most of these are already spoken for, but new litters will be arriving in the months to come. Accepting deposits on those upcoming litters.
Please email me (not through Facebook, since I can't seem to answer back that way) if you are interested or have questions. I will be unavailable for the next week, but will answer back as soon as I can. Thanks for looking!!

Arrived in Tokyo on Thursday and will be here for the duration of our stay. Went to the Edo-Tokyo museum and Japan Currency museum yesterday. Both were very good. The Edo especially. Going south today to see a science museum and, maybe, the outskirts of Tokyo Disney. I want to check out their pins.

The Toyota factory was amazing. Watching the process of them putting those cars together, one right after the other, was mesmerizing. Gates and I couldn't stop watching and then the next thing you know, it was over. Shake it off girl. So cool. Those are some great looking cars!! Off to Nagoya tomorrow.

Long day yesterday (monday). Got up early in Arashiyama to see the bamboo forest. Everything said to "go early to avoid the crowds", so we did. No one there, but us at 0700. Beautiful. Serene. Bliss.
Then we headed back to Kyoto to re visit the Nijo jo castle. Got the audio tour this time and were able to meander anywhere we wanted to go. Very educational and interesting this time.
Got on the wrong bus back to the train station, got lost, got on correct bus, finally left Kyoto st 2:48. Got to our hotel (long story...🤬) at 6 pm and in bed by 9.
