Reading your cat's body language is one of the best ways to show respect. Here's what to look for:

Happy Cat:
- Tail held high with slight curve
- Slow blinks and relaxed eyes
- Ears pointed forward
- Gentle purring
- Kneading paws
- Relaxed whiskers

Stressed Cat:
- Puffed or twitching tail
- Wide eyes, dilated pupils
- Flattened ears
- Excessive hiding
- Low growling
- Tense body posture
