Happy Hank is not so happy, the tips if his ears were bitten by flies...
Happy Hank’s tip for flies biting your dogs ears:

This is usually for a dog who has ears that stand erect. About a tsp size of Vaseline on your fingers and generously coat the tips inside and out. That seems to be where the flies bite the most.
