Job Opportunity: Part-Time Veterinary Receptionist/Assistant at Purple Cat Vet
Purple Cat Vet is seeking an enthusiastic and compassionate Receptionist/Assistant to join our team! If you’re a dedicated cat lover with previous veterinary clinic experience, we encourage you to apply.
Position Details:
• Type: Part-time (10–30 hours per week)
• Location: Cumberland-Shell Lake area (meeting point for travel clinics)
• Pay: $18–$25 per hour, based on experience
• Benefits: 401(k) with a 3% matching contribution eligible, paid time off
This role involves supporting our clinics in Eau Claire and Baldwin, as well as occasional travel to local Humane Societies for MASH shelter work. Travel time is paid. Typical working hours are Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, with every other Friday. Your schedule will be tailored to meet both your needs and the clinic’s requirements.
Responsibilities:
• Client check-in and check-out
• Utilizing Clinic HQ software
• Completing surgery records
• Cleaning kennels, instruments, and the office
• Packing for travel clinics
• Assisting with other tasks as assigned by management
This is an active role that requires excellent communication skills, the ability to multitask, and a willingness to engage with clients. Candidates must also be comfortable with physical activities, such as lifting, bending, kneeling, and standing for extended periods.
