🌟Employee Spotlight🌟

We are excited to announce we have another technician recently accepted into vet school!! Allison started with us in June 2021 and has continued to be a dedicated part of our team during her winter and summer breaks from WVU where she earned her B.S. degree in Animal and Nutritional Science with a minor in Biology. She was accepted into the University of Illinois veterinary program and will be starting this fall. We are extremely proud of her and her accomplishments. We know she will successful in her schooling over the next 4 years. Good luck, Allie! And we hope to see you back this way!

We wanted to take some time to recognize a few of our staff members this week. Starting off with Makalah, RVT. Makalah has been with our practice for 1 year. She recently completed her schooling at the Vet Tech Institute in Pittsburgh, PA where she earned her license. She is pictured with her grumpy cat, Gizzy, who is completely spoiled, if you could not tell. We are happy to have her as part of our team!

One of our employees has two kittens looking for forever homes! They are both female, approximately 8 weeks old. They have been dewormed and felv/fiv tested (negative). Penny is searching for her forever home. Per current foster, she is estimated to be between 10-12 months old. Her mother was dumped and Penny has been cared for, but other pets in the home are not getting along with her. She is very loving and enjoys cuddles. She is tolerant of toddlers, loves other cats, dogs, and chickens.
