Ear mites are a common infectious organism that can infect the ear canals of our dogs and cats. The mite can just barely be seen by the naked eye, so it is necessary to look at an ear wax sample under the microscope to diagnose!
Symptoms include dark/flaky ear discharge, itching, head shaking and a smell coming from the ear.
If you think your pet has ear mites or an ear infection, please call our clinic at (678) 496-3681, walk ins always welcome!
