At this current time and for the very near future, all my previously available chicks, hens and Roos are sold. I do have fertilized eggs available from my fun pen. I have retained all my buff silkie and satin frizzles, a chocolate and an interesting golden chocolate chick bc she’s so cool looking. I will post if any of those need homes in the future.

AVAILABLE:
Super pretty buff satin chick ready for new coop. Would be great to partner with your frizzles to create satin frizzles or if you are like me and just love satins.
Also mauves and black split silkies to create some very pretty chocolates and mauves!! These blacks are very dark with the emerald sheen coming in. Correct toe spacing and coloring. Can be put with paints, whites, blues as well.
And one of my favorites is a fun colored buff frizzle partridge. I have no idea why I love this chick so much but once again, why I love the pretty fun colored birds.. they are just cool and unique. Message me for details

Just hatched and so in love with these colors from my chocolate daddy!!
I know I’m gonna keep one black split chocolate, but I have 3 more so if you think you want some black splits, message for details. Should make some pretty colors!! And anyone who’s ever been here will tell you my chocolate daddy is just the coolest roo so I have no doubt his babies will be the same.

The first of buffs between Urban Fluffy Homesteads buff frizzle satin, Squishy and my pretty buff girls.
Will he/she be a satin, silkie and will he/she be a frizzle?? I’m already in love!! And since it’s my oldest son’s bday.. I will call this lil one Mango (after his favorite ice cream).

From April 18th’ orb client. She drove all the way from SC so I was praying she would have a good fertilized clutch. (Well I always pray for everyone to have one, but ya never know with chickens and eggs, right?!)

I know my good friend from Urban Fluffy asked her followers what their favorite colors were.
How do you even choose?!!! From black to white to blue to paint to splash to buff to chocolate… I love them all!! I do feel Big Becky was stealing the sunshine today though. And black just goes with everything and she’s smooooth as silk.

FleetWool “Mac” and Bob (our babydoll sheep) got their summer haircuts and they feel soooo much better in this GA heat.
Wool is so cool! For real it is. Used for insulation. It’s also water resistant. lanolin… have you looked at hen healer and seen it’s 30% lanolin?
It’s a UV protectant, microbial and biodegradable! I can go on and on.
I use wool in my nesting boxes especially in the winter. I just lift it up and shake out the poopers and put it back. I always have a ton so if you ever want to try it, ask me for some when you get my eggs or chicks.
(Wool is also good as a w**d barrier, and in the hole when you transporting new plants as it holds moisture and has great nutrients). Told you wool is cool!!
So even though our farm babies aren’t here for meat, we love how they contribute to the health and well being of others on the farm.
