Heads up to all of our families, that travel 400/369/Martin Road to arrive at our facility. Please check the new traffic patterns and lane closures/detours with your GPS and allow extra time. Just a heads up you will no longer be able to turn left onto 369 from 400 or left on Martin Road to arrive at Highway nine.  the exit ramp to be able to access Browns Bridge for 369 to Highway nine should be open in two weeks. Alternatives are using  exit 17 to access 306 or Highway nine from 306 or continuing on 400 to Settingdown road please allow for extra time for your travels. Thank you so much.

There isn’t one passive bone in her body.

In fact, I spend most of my day negotiating why she needs to do any given task and she spends most of her day arguing or ignoring it.

I ask her not to do something and she has already figured out ten different ways that she can.

Each day is filled with big emotions.
When she is angry, you know it.
When she is happy, you know it.

She has absolutely no filter and says exactly what is on her mind.
Which has led to me having to bite my cheeks to suppress my laughter on more than one occasion.

Everything is on her terms, on her time, her agenda.
She does not care that she has an appointment in 10 minutes. She will let you know when and if she is available.

Most nights after I put her to bed. I plop down on the couch utterly and completely down to the bone exhausted. Sometimes I wonder why she can’t be more agreeable. Why things can’t be easier.

I keep clinging to the words of fellow mothers of strong-willed children who look back on it all and whisper “I know this is hard now, but it is worth it.”

Deep down even on my most exhausted days I know I wouldn’t change her.

I won’t ask her to be anything other than what she is because I would miss out on all of her.
I would miss out on her big love, her loud joy, her mischievous grin.
I would miss out on her quick wit and her larger-than-life attitude.
I know that the world needs her fight, her vivacious spirit.

And one day when she is grown, I will catch sight of a mom struggling to keep her patience with her strong-willed child who will likely have their arms crossed, determination on their face, a hint of mischief in their eye.
I will place an encouraging hand on that mom’s shoulder and whisper

I know this is hard now, but it is worth it.

Happy national horse day to these five amazing gifted 🐴🐴. If you own horses you know every day is A ❤️🐴day! I’m so blessed to have five hard-working loving horses that help others live life to the their greatest potential! Being able to share them to help others is truly a blessing. This horse mom loves each of you so much!

Love this week boy so much ! Anyone who meets Conley and his sweet family will forever be changed. Simply blessed to have them as part of my “family”.
Anyone that wishes to honor our sweet Cindy 🐴can donate to his fund. This surgery and their ability to go to Boston are imperative for his future health and literally the key to his ability to breath as he continues to grow! Connelly strong 💙💚!

Just simply heartbroken to let everyone know that Cindy passed away on Friday night God blessed us with an amazing horse with a love for our kids and the patience for others that is beyond words.
She will be deeply missed but I can rest in knowing that she was showered with an abundance of love, kisses, carrots, and apples for the last six years. Goodbye sweet girl have a great trail ride in the sky ❤️💔🐴
