We want to inform you of an important update regarding Save This Life Microchips. The company has unexpectedly shut down and unlinked its database from national registries.

What you need to know:
- The microchips themselves remain safe and functional.
- However, due to the database shutdown, pet owners must take immediate action to ensure
their pet's microchip information is accessible.

What you need to do:
To prevent any issues if your pet ever goes missing, please re-register your pet's microchip number as soon as possible at www.freepetchipregistry.com. This free registry is connected to the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool, ensuring your contact information is available when scanned.

If you do not re-register your pet's microchip, there will be no way to retrieve your contact information should your pet become lost.

If you have any questions or concerns, please call our hospital at 770-887-3119.

Thank you,

The staff at Cu***ng Veterinary Clinic

Constipation might not be the most glamorous topic, but it’s a bigger deal for cats than you might think. While a little tummy turmoil here and there isn’t unusual, ongoing difficulty with bowel movements can lead to serious discomfort—or even a medical emergency for our felines. Just a reminder to fully cook any poultry before feeding to your pet or yourself.

R.I. state vet: Cook poultry products before feeding them to pets
The Rhode Island Department of Environmental Management confirmed avian influenza in a domestic flock, prompting the culling of 40 birds to prevent the virus' spread. Dogs and cats are vulnerable to highly pathogenic avian influenza, so any poultry products fed to pets should be thoroughly cooked first, and dogs should be walked on a leash and kept away from dead or sick waterfowl, says State Veterinarian Scott Marshall. We have an excess of nice live plants in our aquarium. We give these away a couple times a year for free in our client's homes when our plants overgrow our lobby's fish tank. Please email our client service team at [email protected] if you would like some of the pretty pink plants called Ludwigia palustris you see in the picture. It's easy to grow as long as you have bright lighting.
