Well, we're back at the vet...

Roxy begrudgingly finished out her two weeks of crate rest. Within the first couple of days of her freedom, she excitedly tried to leaped off of our 4-ft deck but misstepped. Her foot went into her water bowl and she fell hard off the deck and onto the ground. She started limping on her front right paw then as the day went on, she started favoring the original problem leg. The screaming yelps came at night again and my heart sank into my stomach listening to her.

They took x-rays and we will find out in a few days if it's something more serious than a strain. I'm praying for her sake and mine, it's only crate rest in her future.

Even in pain and at the vet, Roxy is still all smiles! She's the happiest dog on the planet. I just love her!!! 🥰🐶🥰🐶🥰

We got to check out Alligator River National Wildlife Refuge yesterday! We ran into a bunch of critters including 4 bears, hundreds of turtles (even a big snapping turtle), two snakes, countless birds, and of course, LOTS of bugs. We had a great time!
