Thank you to everyone who made Digging into Ag Day possible for our Currituck County Schools 3rd graders! It was “One in a Melon” 🍉

A huge shoutout to our students who did an AMAZING job with their booths and leadership! I’m so proud of them for getting the job done today. They are fantastic and I couldn’t be prouder!

Thank you to Currituck Farm Bureau for their donation of bags for the 3rd graders, the book “Farm Boots” and a lesson plan for each teacher, and a bookmark for each 3rd grader. Thank you to John Deere for donating pencils for each student bag and Case iH for their donation of stickers for each student bag. Thank you NC Farm Bureau for donating ABCs of agricultural book marks.
Thank you Duncan and Son Farms for sharing equipment for us to use for the day.
Thank you to the staff at the Rural Center for all their help and assistance with having a smooth running day.
A HUGE thank you to Mrs. Jessica Brick in our transportation department who facilitates the buses for ag day and to all the drivers who transport our 3rd graders to CCRC for Digging into Ag Day!
