What a great evening of girls and horses and seeing barn family we haven’t seen in a while. Jolene and Marley had such a fantastic ride for only their second ride without their amazing aunt by their side. They were both happy and confident and makes my heart so happy. Even Bekah hopped on him and they did great! And Jolene got to end the evening riding next to one of her favorite people ♥️♥️♥️

Jolene and Marley’s first together . They received wonderful remarks and feedback from the judge and are looking forward to their next one very soon! They have shows on the 1st and 15th of every month. These shows are a great way to show without having to spend a fortune or even leave home! And the amazing lady that puts this all together is so great about helping you through the rather simple process. You don’t have to have a fancy arena, just as long as the judge can see the letters. on Facebook has all of the information you need and Lori is a wealth of knowledge and so kind and happy to help if you have any questions.

Jolene and Marley had a great first ride back home at in their absolutely beautiful arena. And when you have your first ride without aunt right by your side the next best thing is to have her reassuring voice in your ear ♥️

After an amazing lesson our handsome boy has returned home! It is truly awe inspiring to see the beautiful hard work that my incredible family/friend/sister has put into our boy. And if she weren’t already amazing enough just being her, she has also given so much time and given our little girl the knowledge, confidence and passion to ride our spicy redhead! They still have work to continue but I am truly blessed beyond words for family that comes into our lives and only makes this world a better place because they are in it with you through it all.

This girl is fierce ♥️ She has the biggest heart and an old soul. She is up every morning helping with farm chores, getting great grades, homework while driving to riding lessons, chores when we get home and then she is up without hesitation to start it all over again. And she loves spending time with family♥️ I love everything about this young lady and I am so grateful that she fell in love with the passion we share of our horses. She may even be more horse crazy than I was at that age if that’s even possible.

We couldn’t have asked for a better day, place, environment or amazing people in our corner for Jolene and Marley’s first show together! They did wonderful and improved with each class! She even got the Judges Award for keeping him and all of the other riders safe when he decided to be a little spicy in his first class all with a great attitude and for all over improvement as they progressed through their classes. And Marley was such a trooper, taking care of her and then getting to have a little more fun and speed when hopped on for a few classes after Jolene. And deserves an award for putting up with all our shenanigans and helping so much with everything!

We took the horse trailer down to my brother so he can do some work on it for me and it turned out to be a really great day. We got to visit with family, the weather was beautiful, the girls played on the rocks at the jetty, Jolene got to go for a ride with uncle Chris and we ended the day with a picnic dinner on the beach.

Fun day at aunt yesterday. It’s been a minute since his last time, but Marley seemed to be quite pleased with himself and especially the cookies that followed 😊♥️🐴.

Marley seems to find the horse in the new mirrors quite handsome, but can ya blame him lol♥️ I love to see these two making progress and gaining confidence as a team with each ride. We are so grateful for all of aunt hard work with these two and bonus for getting to spend more quality time w with our beautiful friend, ponies and pups!

Today was their first day in the outdoor arena and they both did great! They are coming along so nicely and we are so grateful for Jolene’s amazing godmother/aunt that has put so much time and dedication to ensure they are going to have so many wonderful years together. Marley is happy and loving having a job again, especially when it involves cookies and lots of love and Jolene is gaining more confidence and getting more excited to do more with each ride. And the redheads are kind of fond of each other, most of the time!

I am so proud of these two! They are making great progress. Jolene is gaining more confidence and Marley is happy, relaxed and truly enjoying his job. They even practiced a little today. And I am forever grateful for the most amazing friend/Jolene’s godmother who gave him such a great start years ago and has been working with them over the last couple of months. She is so patient, kind and it is so wonderful watching her work with them. I can’t wait for our many adventures together this summer !

Very long weekend with many highs and lows. Highest point of the weekend was Jolene getting reserve championship in her western class today at . The lowest was finally pulling into the driveway tonight just to turn around and make an emergency trip to see our favorite vet for stitches because Lilly decided to try to take her ear off. Gotta love 🤦‍♀️♥️
