CANCELATION POLICY: Please keep in mind that I am running a business, and this is my only source of income. When you book my services, I put you on my calendar on a first-come-first-served basis. When you cancel that booking, I lose the income I would have received from you AND the other client I had to turn down. I never had it in writing, it was just a verbal statement, and this hasn't been too much of an issue in the past-and thank you to those who have honored the cancelation fee. But, to prevent any further misunderstandings (and to save me from any more tears), I find it necessary to post my policy.
Cancelation fees are as follows, and are based on length of booking and advanced notice of cancelation:
1. Bookings for less than 7* days, with AT LEAST 1 month notice, will be $50.
2. Bookings for less than 7* days, with 2-4 weeks advance notice will be $75. Less than 2 weeks notice will be 50% of my quoted sitting fee.
*Bookings for less than 3 days will be a straight $25.
3. Bookings for 7 days or more, with AT LEAST a 1 month notice, will be $75.
4. Bookings for 7 days or more, with 2-4 weeks advance notice, will be $100. Less than 2 weeks will be 50% of my sitting fee.
I know that situations can occur that you have no control of. So, some of the cancelation fee may be waived-depending on the situation.
