We were given the chance to buy this outstanding young mare from Kate Watson. NotyourSundayshoes (Lucy) is by SDP blue blood and out of a Shining Spark/Smart little Lena dam.
She gave us this leggy c**t by Doc! Very excited for this cross!

We said goodbye to Oscar a few days ago. These pictures are 12 years apart. You'll never convince me some horses don't have an ego. They know what winning is. Oscar was dang sure one of them!
We can't thank the Johnson family enough for letting Stockton grow up with him.

Sue wrapped up foaling season for us with a strapping c**t yesterday morning!

All the mares and foals are doing great! We are very grateful for the moisture we have been receiving.

Mariah had a leggy c**t yesterday morning! Kind of fitting as his full brother went to start his life with Mr Trase Johnson. Horses are pretty special around here and even more so when they go to people that will give them opportunities to succeed.

Poppy had her first foal! She's very proud and protective so not sure on the s*x yet.
We like the Driftwood line around here. Poppy's sire is Drifts Chip x Orphan drift daughter and her mother was a Wayward Ike daughter. She was as good a mare as I've ever rode.
Pretty excited about this baby!

Stockton has been working on riding one handed and using his legs more. It's a work in progress. Thankful for forgiving horses and opportunities to make ourselves and our horses better.

We would like to thank the Foster family for their continued support. They are repeat buyers and took this nice c**t by Doc and out of Jewel (Tarplay x Gray Starlight dtr). He will have a good home and get plenty of attention from some handy young girls!

There are horses that change lives, Oscar is one of those. The Johnson family offered Oscar to us as a horse for Stockton. I had no idea how much their generosity would change our lives. Stockton was used to an old babysitter. As solid and gentle as he is, Oscar ain't afraid to trot a circle! The first time he rode Oscar, there may have been some tears. It was different, for both of them. But by ride 3, peas and carrots! We about lost Oscar twice to bouts of colic. Both times we came home from the vet, Stockton came right down and hugged him and stood there and talked to him like the pals they are. He drug is first calf and got the chance to heel a few at the neighbors head and heel branding on Oscar. I could go on for another page. We retired Oscar from riding last week after a great day. Time for him to just enjoy the sunshine and grass. I will be forever grateful to the Johnson family for Oscar and the joy he has brought our family.

We have nominated PV Scratch My Ichi(Doc) to the Nile futurities. Any horse sired by him is eligible to compete. Pineview Quarter horses is also a Ranching Heritage Breeder. Horses out of one of our mares would be eligible for those classes as well.
