Greymeadows Farm in Cutler, OH is looking for a Breeding and Training Farm Manager
Located in the scenic Mid-Ohio Valley, our 60+-acre private equestrian facility is looking for a dedicated Breeding and Training Farm Manager to provide care for our horses, manage breeding and foaling, and begin early training for our young ponies. This position offers the unique opportunity to raise and work with some of the top hunter ponies. We were ranked top 10 USEF Pony Hunter Breeder and top 5 USEF Pony Hunter Sire in 2023. Onsite housing including utilities and internet is provided, as well as the opportunity to bring one horse.
Example Job Responsibilities:
Manage breeding and foaling
Groundwork to lightly starting ponies from foals to fully grown
Provide basic equine medical care (taking TPR, injections, and wrapping)
Manage ordering and delivery of supplies ( feed, hay, etc.)
Basic record keeping
Feed, clean stalls, water, and sweep
Coordinating with vet and farrier
Engage in additional tasks as time permits to support the overall well-being of the horses and cleanliness of the facility.
Minimum Requirements:
Must have prior experience with horses.
Independently Motivated
Ability to lift at least 50 pounds.
Hardworking and positive attitude.
Must be able to provide references.
Living Accommodations:
A comfortable one-bedroom house on the property.
Includes utilities and internet.
