This is what breeding makes it all worth it when you get letters like this..
Hi Dave and Sue --
I thought I'd write you a quick note to give you an update about Quinn, one of Pati and Loki's babies born last Saint Patrick's Day (previously Caitlin), who turns 1 today! 🎂
She is a true Irish lassie with red hair and freckles, so it's fitting she was born today.
Quinn is a joy, and it has been an adventure since bringing her home to NH in August, getting to know each other and helping her adjust in our family. She fit in pretty much right away. She is very smart and biddable, and we've taught her lots of basic commands as well as a few cute ones, including "shake" and "hug", both of which she gives! She's also very playful and loves snuffle toys, squeakies, and nylabones. She is a kisser, a cuddler, a velcro dog, and a total Mama's girl. We go for walks every day in the park, and she is a hound, sniffing everything she can. She is so gentle and sweet, and she couldn't be more excited to make new friends. She and my parents' golden retriever are buds.
These days, Quinn and our cat, Sally, are buddies, too, playing tag and sometimes full-on tackling each other. They tire each other out and enjoy each other's company...most of the time. Haha.
As you know, purchasing a dog is a HUGE deal for any family, and not only did you make the process seamless, but Quinn is so wonderful! It was evident from day 1 of adoption that you loved your pups.
Please know that she is adored and cherished. She makes us smile (and usually laugh) every day!
