So everyone is able to plan accordingly, here are the dates we will be CLOSED for family time and vacation for 2024.

We will be closed May 28th - June 6th.

We will not be taking any boarders, bathing appointments, daycare, etc. during these dates.

Friends, we are hoping to add 3-4 new foster families to our team in Q1 of 2024. Good news: Fostering costs you NOTHING and you get to be apart of SAVING LIVES! 🤩 We provide everything you need to care for the dog and cover the cost of vet care. Ideally, our fosters would be located in the central KY area since most of our events and our primary vet clinic are in Lexington, but we’ll consider all applicants. ***Pongo, pictured here, and two other dogs were pulled from the euthanasia list at a rural KY shelter and placed in our foster homes last March. His name is now Cowboy and he’s living his best life in his forever home!***

Here are our current Bluegrass Bully Rescue fosters that are looking for families! Manolo, Kate, and Tori are fully vetted and ready to go.

🐾Tori - Active and smart. Will be a great adventure buddy.
🐾Manolo - People-oriented and cuddly. Energetic. Would be great in any home.
🐾Kate - Calm and sweet. Independent. Would be great in any family.

🐾Wilbur, our smallest nugget, won’t be available for adoption for quite some time, but hes really stinking cute.

Spending Christmas with all these adorable faces! ❤️ We’re celebrating with a special Christmas dinner of chicken, veggies, and pumpkin with pup cups and milk bones for dessert. The weather might be a little dreary, but our Christmas spirits are not!
