Samples of our specialty Microgreens. Not only do these have a powerhouse flavor profile, they are packed with nutrients and vitamins:
Nasturtium - They contain almost 45 mg of lutein per 100 g, which is essential for eye health and is the highest in any edible plant.
Nasturtium leaves have high amounts of Vitamin C and are also a natural antibiotic.
As antibiotics, the leaves help to treat minor colds and flu. You can eat one to two leaves three times a day for full benefits. Due to its rich phytochemical content and unique elemental composition, the garden nasturtium may treat many diseases, for example, the illnesses of the respiratory and digestive systems.
Cilantro - these microgreens contain very high levels of the carotenoids lutein/ zeaxanthin, violaxanthin and beta carotene, which are fat soluble antioxidants important for organ function and protecting cellular structures from damage. Cilantro microgreens contain 3 times more beta carotene than the mature leaves.
Sorrel - rich in essential vitamins C (53.33%) and A (22.22%), these microgreens have moderate amounts of minerals iron (13.33%), magnesium (24.52%), copper (14.56%), and manganese (15.17%). In addition to vitamins and minerals, sorrel microgreens are a rich source of antioxidants having eight of the nine essential amino acids, only lacking in tryptophan. It is also a moderate source of fiber (10.36%).
