Today is a hard day. Sadie started it all with Dutch. Dutch is no longer being used as a stud, but we do stud him out to approved programs, and he also helps us detect when the girls go into heat. But when mommas are done serving in our program, it means they must be spayed. So today is Sadie's day. Anytime a loved one, furry or not, goes into surgery, however routine, it causes one to pause with concern. I have not looked forward to this day, but here we are. Please pray with me that Sadie does super well today, no complications with the surgery itself or the recovery. She is the best girl and I absolutely couldn't have asked for a better momma in every way. Sadie is the GOAT. Now she gets to totally relax and no more heats, no more whelps, no more puppies. I love you Sadie, and so does every one of the families you have brought incredible love and joy to! Thank you!

Incredible news for our King Louie I of DOC!! He PASSED his OFA/PennHip Evals!! We could not be more ecstatic! Now to wait until he is 1 to finish out the remainder of his health testing -- heart, patellar, and eyes! He is currently 7 months old so all of that will be right around the corner!!
