Today marks 3 years since Ashley joined our technician team! Ashely is an incredibly hard-worker and we are very thankful to have her on our team. She is thorough and informative with each patient and pet parent she cares for. Ashley is always bringing ideas to the team to help us perform at our best. Dr. Funderburke is thorough, compassionate, and a true expert in the way she uniquely cares for each one of her patients. Today marks 5 years that Kristen has been a special part of our technician team! Kristen is a Certified Veterinary Technician who has a strong passion and skill in caring for our senior patients. Although she is great with every patient, Kristen truly connects with our seniors and provides the gentlest care and dignity. Congrats on 5 years Kristen! We are truly grateful for YOU!!

Congrats to Savannah on 6 years with Glenwood Falls Animal Hospital!! After starting out as an assistant to our technician team we quickly realized how outstanding Savannah is, as both an employee and team-mate! Savannah has learned so much and is such an asset to every patient she cares for. She has learned every position in our clinic from technician to customer service. Our team would not be the same without Savannah’s constant good vibes and passion for animal care. Thank you, Savannah, for your dedication to Glenwood Falls over the years!!

We are super excited to celebrate Eric today as he hits his 14-year anniversary working at Glenwood Falls Animal Hospital. Eric has been a crucial part of our technician team for so many years now! He is a hard worker, clearly dedicated to Glenwood Falls and all our patients, and it is always a joy to work alongside him. Eric has grown very knowledgeable, closely assisting the doctors over the years in our surgery department as well as providing consistent wellness care to his patients. We are all very lucky to have Eric on our team! Thank you, Eric, for all your hard work!

Thank you and congratulations to Alexa for her 8 years of dedication to Glenwood Falls Animal Hospital!! Alexa started with us as a Certified Veterinary Assistant and for the past few years has served as the dedicated technician to our In-house pharmacy. She works diligently every day to ensure that your fur babies get their correct medications in a timely manner. Alexa’s co-workers have grown to love both her sweet and “sassy” personality over the years! She truly is a joy to work alongside, and our hospital is more efficient thanks to her daily hard work. Toni started her career with us as a Certified Veterinary Assistant and is now a very important part of our management team. At any given time, you may find Toni helping in so many different areas of the hospital; whether assisting as a technician directly with her patients, helping the customer service team, preparing medications in the pharmacy, or assisting the doctors with multiple tasks; she is constantly contributing to the well-being of our patients, staff, and business. Toni is truly one-of-a-kind, and our entire team is thankful for her spirit and dedication to Glenwood Falls. Thank you Toni!!

Our hospital will be closing today (Monday 1/15) at 5pm to allow our staff to get home safely in the inclement weather. Based on the current weather updates we will reduce our hours tomorrow (Tuesday 1/16) to 9am - 12pm.

We will reopen, with regular hours, at 7am on Wednesday 1/17!

Veronica was born on a Naval base in Florida but has spent most of her life here in Houston. She joined our customer service team in June 2021. Veronica is always going above and beyond to help our clients and their fur babies. She is patient, knowledgeable, and always empathetic to our client and patient’s needs. Outside of work you can find Veronica enjoying her time reading, cooking, and traveling when she gets the chance.

When asked what dog breed she would be and why? Veronica agrees a Rottweiler - because” I’m loyal, can adapt to my environment, and loves puzzles/something to keep my mind at work.” Thank you, Veronica, for all you contribute to our hospital and staff. We appreciate your positive attitude and consistent hard work!

Patricia has been part of our customer service team since December of 2020 and is a truly special part of the team to all of us. She was born in the Houston area but has also spent time living in both Dallas and Austin. Patricia has worked in the veterinary industry for several years in both general practices, as well as within veterinary specialist hospitals. She has experience in veterinary technician assistance and customer service.

Outside of work you can find Patricia spending time with her other-half John and precious fur baby Athena. They love to go camping, especially on the beach. Patricia and John also love to attend concerts together whenever they get the chance. Patricia enjoys hobbies such as scratch art, glass blowing, ziplining, and cooking!

We are very fortunate to have Patricia on our team and are so proud of all that she contributes to the Glenwood Falls team, our clients, and our patients. Thank you, Patricia, for all that you do!
