Purr Paws Rescue, Inc Looking for a cat or kitten? Come visit with us at adoptions to meet a new family member! Purr Paws does not have a shelter. We are a foster home based rescue.

Purr Paws is only able to accept cats into the program if there are spaces available in foster homes. If you are looking to place a cat or kitten into a new home, we can help you place the cat or kitten if you can keep them at your home (aka: foster them) until they are adopted or space opens up in one of the foster homes or at the Adoption Center. If you can foster a kitty, please let us know! Pu

rr Paws is a no-kill cat rescue. We do not euthanize for space. Before Purr Paws places any cat or kitten in a new home, we:

* Spay or Neuter
* Vaccinate for FVRCCP (Kitten Shots)
* Vaccinate for Rabies (if old enough)
* Test for FIV/FeLV
* Treat for worms
* Treat for fleas
* Treat for ear mites
* Microchip (most cats and kittens)
* Any other treatment required to bring the cat or kitten to good health

We can also provide information for Low Cost Spay and Neuter, as well as being willing to work with individuals who are having difficulties with their cats or kittens to try and keep the cats and kittens in their current home. Meet Luxe
I'm a sweet boy. I was dumped in a box at PetSmart in Copperfield.
the employees aren't sure how long I was out there. I was so scared I p*ed myself.
the nice employees took me in when they found me and reached out to Purr Paws Rescue. They found a foster home for me to go to.
My foster mom cleaned me up, so I'm not so smelly, gave me my first vaccine and de wormed me. short term pain, long term gain. I forgave her for poking me.
She calls me LUXE because I'm so elegant and luxurious looking. I have a great personality to go with that.
I'm getting neutered on 1/21. Oh what fun! I'll be available for my furrever home after that.
Moms not sure yet how I'll be with other cats and dogs. However, I'm sure good by myself if you love on me!

Say hi to Bonnie!
My foster dad found me in his backyard. I was scared but quickly realized he was a nice person. He gave me food and water and then brought me in out of the cold. I love pets and I am learning how to play. I love the churu treats and the crinkle balls. i love to cuddle and sit on my foster mom’s lap. I’m looking for someone to love and play with me and give me a furrever home. I also love to purr and chirp often to show my appreciation.

Can you guys use your Facebook to give Milo, one of Purr Paws Rescue's cats, a vote? If he wins then he can get money to help pay for medical treatment. Milo was brought into our rescue after being injured by a large animal. He is super sweet, playful, and loving but can't jump. He is currently getting treatment for some nerve problems, and needs help paying for medical treatment. He is in 2nd place and if he wins the funds will help pay for his medical costs. Please vote!

22 month old Oscar and I were in the FAIRHAVEN VET CLINIC on this overcast rainy Christmas eve. 12/24/24
I've noticed recently he's started withdrawing from socializing with the rest. Next he started cutting back on eating, and then drinking less water. Last night, he crawled into litter box and laid down to p*e. ok. Somethings is NOT RIGHT. It's Christmas Eve today and thankfully I was able to get him a 10 am appointment. Hes not well. We are running blood and then onto X-rays.
Potentially FIP, Potentially Athsma
Nope turns out chronic congestive heart failure. genetic. normal heart enzyme levels are under 100, above 200 is concerning. His enzyme level over 1500. Tested two separate times.
Prolonging his life wouldn't make it better. Unfortunately I had to put this baby to sleep. After many tears I said goodbye and run free. I told him to hug Cinder when he got there.
Madison and Dr Rahim at the clinic were amazing to work with. This was not the ending I wanted or saw coming.
Unfortunately, this all adds up. His invoice came to over $700.
This is a heavy hit for a small 501c3 rescue.

HELLO EVERYONE! We are Nugget and Shannon.
ME - NUGGET , I am the brown tabby with big beautiful eyes. My foster daddy calls me Dexter.. lol. I was found in McDonald's parking lot so that's how I got my name. I am a super boy full of curiosity. I love laps, laser lights and feathers to chase. I'm so cool you can even dress me up! I have been with my friend since we were little babies so we really want to stay together. Enough about me here's Shannon:
Hi guys I am Shannon. I'm a BIG black kitty with "OH SO MUCH LOVE" to give. I like food, and playtime of course but LAP TIME is the best. I am sooooo chilllllll! Not to mention I am so squeezably soft. But don't squeeze too hard.. lol.

Hi EVERYONE! It's me.. MONTANNA or Tanna for short.
I don't know why I'm not adopted yet. My siblings have all been chosen. I am so INCREDIBLY sweet and love to be with you. I can be adopted by myself only if you're not gone from home too long at work, otherwise I need a companion.
I was one of 5 that were found in a yard as teeny tiny babies. I was bottle fed so I got A LOT of handling!
Did I mention I'M SWEET. I love to purr and head butt in a loving way. I really want a furrever home!
