Purr Paws is only able to accept cats into the program if there are spaces available in foster homes. If you are looking to place a cat or kitten into a new home, we can help you place the cat or kitten if you can keep them at your home (aka: foster them) until they are adopted or space opens up in one of the foster homes or at the Adoption Center. If you can foster a kitty, please let us know! Pu

rr Paws is a no-kill cat rescue. We do not euthanize for space. Before Purr Paws places any cat or kitten in a new home, we:

* Spay or Neuter
* Vaccinate for FVRCCP (Kitten Shots)
* Vaccinate for Rabies (if old enough)
* Test for FIV/FeLV
* Treat for worms
* Treat for fleas
* Treat for ear mites
* Microchip (most cats and kittens)
* Any other treatment required to bring the cat or kitten to good health

We can also provide information for Low Cost Spay and Neuter, as well as being willing to work with individuals who are having difficulties with their cats or kittens to try and keep the cats and kittens in their current home. Hello friends, the end of 2024 is around the corner and as many of you are gearing up for tax season, CONSIDER a donation to us that is 100% deductible. Or better yet, how about an early Christmas present to US!

I'm Pru. If you're looking for a high octane kind of girl, well that's not me. I'm more laid back and reserved, however, that doesn't mean I won't chase anything that moves. Also, once I warm up to you, I become your shadow and will even lay in your lap. I know what dogs are and I get along with them as long as they are nice to me.

Hi I'm Rodney. My foster mom thinks I was the runt of the litter since I was smaller than my brothers, but that doesn't hold me back. I play hard and I love to snuggle. I am content laying in your lap or laying next to you. I love toys, especially the little red dot or feathers, anything that crinkles is good too. I will be your best friend if you give me a chance.

I am speed on four legs. I love chasing after anything, especially the little red dot, feathers or crinkle balls. When I'm not hot on the heels of a toy or my brother, I like to just chill, either next to you or on your lap. I really like cuddles and chin scratches.

I am KRIS!! My foster momma loves me. She thinks I'm over the top cute and personable.
I was in the auto yard group rescued and hopefully the last group now that all the females were TNR'd.
Not much fazes me. I love to eat and love to play. I am just generally a happy boy! I love plastic spring toys and lil stuffed mice. Tussling with another kitten is the best next to snuggling up with mom.

I am a super boy that I'm a little shy at first, but watch out because once I know you, you are mine. I love to play hard with my siblings but when it's time, I love my snuggle time. My name is Furrnado and I was abanoned at a vet clinic with my mom and sister Purrsephone when I was very little. The vet clinic kept us safe until a rescue group had available space for us. Eventually that happened and our whole little family was accepted. I am super sweet and very inquisitive. I will explore everything and chase everything and well just be a energetic kitten. Oh and I also chase my sister but isnt that what older brothers are supposed to do?? When I am done running all around I will take a rest in my cat tree. Usually my sister and I nap together. Sometimes I will even crawl up in your lap. But when the mood strikes me. I love me some humans but us cats are known for having colorful personalities. I am looking for that perfect forever home where I can entertain my family while growing up. Ideally I would love for my sister to come with me. I know, I know, two can be a handful and even though we have our moments of dislike, we really really love each other.

I am Purrsephone and I was left at a vet clinic with my mom and brother Furrnado when I was very young. The vet clinic kept us safe until a rescue group had available space for us. I am pretty chill and somewhat cautious of new things until I get comfortable with the environment. After that it's no holds barred and I turn into a mighty explorer checking out anything and everything. Sometimes I let my brother Furrnado take the lead because he can be a bit braver than I. Plus he is my protector and makes sure the big scary world is safe for me. I can be vocal when I want some attention and I have the softest sweetest meow. My days are pretty much spent running, playing, chasing my brother, eating, sleeping, eating, sleeping. Oh did I mention eating and sleeping? Heehee! Like my brother, I can be a lap buddy but on my terms. Our foster mom really likes squeezy cuddles and we tolerate it as long as we can. I am hopeful my forever family will see me and bring me home. It would be furrtastic if my brother can come too. He is a little annoying but I love him so much!

Larry and Curly are looking for their Furrever homes. Larry was adopted and returned thru no fault of his own. He missed his brother Curly. They are bonded brothers. These two sweeties were returned today. They are available for adoption. Their previous people had unknown allergies. ANGELO AND LOGAN pics in comments. I prefer they get adopted together!

Meet Mr. Kimble! A special needs kitten who has been in our group since late May. He has a bilateral IV luxating patella. Which is a fancy way of saying his knee caps are backwards in his back legs and it hurts for him to walk much. He is having surgery at A&M this September and we’re hoping it fixes it! That surgery will cost the rescue at least $6000! We are doing a raffle basket this weekend at @Petsmart1422 (by Spring Cypress and 290)! There will be a movie basket to enjoy a day inside with your family AND an kids activities basket to keep them outside when you need some time to enjoy a quite home. Pics of those will come closer to the weekend. The baskets will be at the Cypress Petsmart from 12-3 both Saturday and Sunday this weekend! If you decide to stop by Sunday and enter the raffle you can also meet the mighty man himself 🥰 (We are not accepting applications for Mr. Kimble at this time) please contact us with any questions!
