This post might upset some people, but I need to speak out about this. When you hire us to care for your pets you are asking us to care for your pets as if they are our own and ensure that they are safe, healthy, and happy. Therefore, It is our policy to not do anything that we know for a fact is against any of those core beliefs. Your pet is your pet, and when you are home you of course can feed your pet as much as you'd like and whatever you would like. But when your pet is in our care and it is our responsibility to make sure that your pet does not end up at the veterinarian, we will not be offering foods to your dog that we know are toxic and/or cause medical complications such as pancreatitis, kidney disease, stomach irritation, etc. I apologize if this upsets anyone, but I strongly urge you to always do your research on whether or not what you're attempting to give your dog is actually safe.
