Join us in welcoming our new doctor, Dr. Hyun! 🐾
Dr. Hyun received his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Korea in 2000, and from Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine in New York in 2006. He also graduated from Korea Military Academy. He moved with his family from Korea to Ithaca, NY in 2005. After graduating from Cornell University, he practiced in many areas, including Boston, Murrieta, and San Diego, where he owned a veterinary practice.
In 2016, he joined VCA. He served as an Army Civilian Veterinarian in Camp Humphreys in Korea, and then relocated to La Quinta in 2018 and joined VCA All Creatures Animal Hospital. In 2021, he relocated to Orange County and joined our team at VCA College Park Ana Brook Animal Hospital. Dr. Hyun has an interest in veterinary dentistry, internal medicine, and surgery and participates in several continuing education and local training programs.
Dr. Hyun is married and has two sons. He enjoys spending time in nature by hiking, camping and enjoys playing soccer.
